A world with deeply entrenched caste systems provides for the justification of the exploitation of the weak and vulnerable to its highest form. One where the ability to use magic means everything, from your status to place in the hierarchy, wealth, and treatment of others. The serfs, the slaves, the powerless of society could only grit their teeth and hope for some kind of salvation.

It was at this moment that the string of fate moved eccentrically. In a faraway ocean, where no land could be found, one filled with thick fog, where you’d never be able to get out if you stumbled upon. Where your deepest nightmares lurk beneath the serene ocean. A society, a huge swatch of lands, a nation filled with people without any form or knowledge of what is magic about, appeared.

From there, they appeared, and from there, they observed the world they got themselves upon. With a single realization, they saw that the inhabitants and their values were incompatible, inevitably resulting in a conflict. However, they carried something up their sleeve: one that could end nations, one that could propel an individual to unimaginable heights, and one that could end entire cities in mere seconds.

However, they wouldn’t surrender do they? After all, for thousands of years, they have been drinking the same wine they drink every day. They just wouldn’t let a single day pass without drinking one. Thus, a clash of ideals, aspirations, and the cries of the oppressed chasing the ever-dying light of liberty and freedom shall ensue.
