I remember Camden from middle school. Those six days will forever be ingrained in my mind, the singular kiss we shared seared into my memory. We left the playground that day both grinning from ear to ear.
  I'd come back to the playground on Monday the next week and sat in our spot, waiting for him to show up like he always did. But he didn't. I waited for days and days after that, never getting any word about what had happened even when asking the teachers. It was like he had just disappeared off the face of the earth.
  Now, fourteen years later, he sweeps back into my life like a hurricane in a sexy tailored suit to once again save me. He's bigger now. I mean, he was already a full head taller than me in middle school but now he was muscular and broad, even taller than before. 
  That's not all that's changed though. I thought he was a little scary before as a 12-year-old, but that version of him had nothing on him now. Just the mere mention of Camden, now known as The Grim Reaper, or Grim for short as he tells me, sends most of the criminal underground of Chicago into a panicked frenzy. He has a bad reputation and a rap sheet a mile long that the PD seems to ignore.
  But I've changed too. I used to be shy and quiet, the victim of bullies but no more am I that little girl who used to hide from bullies, now I'm fiery and I'm able to protect myself. I refuse to be a victim any longer, not after what Chad did to me. Not after what he took from me.
