Wendigo, man eating monsters of Native American mythology, plague our world with terror and fear. A group of people who possess weapons forged from the bodies of wendigo combined with silver ingots.
Akecheta  is a half native boy who's family was killed and eaten by wendigo, and longs to become a Wendigo Hunter to avenge his family. His older brother, Waya is a Hunter, and refuses to allow Akecheta to become a Hunter in order to protect him. In order to get his brother's approval, Akecheta sets out to train himself to become stronger. While training in the forests, he befriends a strange girl with deer horns, who is said to be the Wendigo's child.
This is not only the tale of a boy with a hatred for a common enemy, but how a common enemy can become a common friend....
