A LN styled web novel that rewrites - reimagines? the story of the prequel manga "Akame Ga Kill! ZERO" by Takahiro. 

Before Night Raid, there was a group of assassins that worked for the Empire - The Elite *Seven.  Their belief was that taking a life would bring happiness to someone else. Yashirou, along with many others including Akame who would eventually join Night Raid were purchased or taken away by the Empire and trained to be efficient assassins. Their primary objective was to eliminate anything in their way because that was believed to be the way to bring joy to others. As tragedy hits, Yashirou starts to question his morality in an ever gruelling world...

Melt's bragging, complaints! complaints!

Akame ga Kill! ZERO (officially)  is one of the worst prequels I ever read and felt that it is the manga that had the worse amount of potential of all pieces of media, only for it to be lost. This is an ALTERNATE TIMELINE rewrite of the manga's story in an novelisation format. Whilst this Web novel introduces original content, it fits and blends in with Akame Ga Kill!'s canon world making it feel more like an alternate route / expansion on the established canon. 

Also,  at a strict sense - No overpowered abilities and Akame Romance. I write as if this was Takahiro.
