When a forester finds an abandoned baby in the woods during his work he cannot bring himself to abandon the kid, even tho he is one of the feared dark elves. An almost extinct race nowadays since they lost the last great war over 1000 years ago.

He decides to take the baby with him and to raise him to be a good and righteous person together with his wife.

Little did he know that the helpless little baby he took back to his village would one day become the nightmare of peasants, kings and archmages alike.
