The Oracle had foretold the arrival of a savior, a hero that would save Varietin from the catastrophe that was sure to befall it. 

However, the appearance of said hero sparks more apprehension than joy in Favar, captain of Varietin's Imperial Army. 

As time passes, and the hero's behavior becomes more erratic and minacious, Favar is forced to investigate her actions and come to the conclusion that she might not be what she appears to be.
