Have you ever felt like the background character of your own life?

For years, Chizuru has felt like she’s lived her life guided by a voice in her head. To her, the world is black and white. She doesn't consider herself a protagonist. She’s no hero, either. 

However, when she saves an eccentric game developer from the life-threatening even of falling down some stairs, he presents to her the opportunity of a lifetime: help him build a new video game for his father's newest VR console, the OrionGear. Oh, and the only way to develop the game is to create it with your mind as you play. 

Her once black and white life begins to take a whole new form, in a whole new colorful world to match. Is this the chance for Chizuru to become the protagonist of her life once again, or is it simply an escape from being an NPC in real life?
