My birthdays are always happy but my 20th birthday brought me so much pain and confusion as I opened a new chapter entirely, a page in my life that I never thought would come this fast 
“A child is a blessing” my mother told me but having him wasn’t the blessing I needed. 
“You never told me you had a child for me” Richard said as he looked at me 
“Please I don’t need that pity look of yours, I’ve raised him for 10 years without you, what makes you think I need you now?” I told him knowing that I needed him just for the sake of my son or should I have said OUR son 
Becoming a mother at 21 wasn’t part of my plan but what could I have done 
No pills worked on him, he wanted to come into my world and my life to cause me pain I thought, but I was wrong all along, Tayo brought me so much happiness and joy that I couldn’t even imagine and now I can’t allow anyone to take my son away from me.
