A man named Dor dies and finds himself in limbo talking to the god of reincarnation, samsara, about his next life. Due to some complications with his soul, it has begone a process known to the gods as "soul rupture" meaning his soul will fragment into a million pieces soon, leading to absolute insanity in mortal souls. To fix this, Sam suggests sending Dor's soul to a world rich in natural energy, unlike his old one, but something goes wrong with the transfer, his soul fragmenting along the way and drifting away through the river of space-time. 

Now known as Uzumaki Jidai, an amalgamation of fragmented soul pieces, finds himself inside the mind of young 4-years old uzumaki naruto with very little to no knowledge of who or what he is!
