Akio was an ordinary highschool boy before he was whisked away to another world to save them from the threat of the Demon King.

After 15 years he finally slayed the Demon King and was successfully brought back to Earth.... Only. Not in the way he wanted OR expected.

As it turns out. The exact same time Akio was brought to the other world, a great catastrophe struck Earth. Strange portals appeared from nowhere, spewing out monsters from it. Millions died. When all hope seemed lost, people started gaining supernatural abilities, allowing them to repel the monsters back into the portals and closing them for good. However, even after 15 years portals still appeared all around the world.

But then, an even bigger hope was found, a way to stop the monsters for good. What they needed was a hero from another world!... Which just so happened to be Akio.

He already saved one world. Hell! What's another one to add to the list.
