The saying that all stories have some truth to them is well known. Yet what if that truth was a secret world of magic hidden in plain sight? A world gently caressing what we know, hidden by our own hubris.

Valentine, a bullied highschooler, finds himself in the ranks of a cutthroat mage underworld group after the good will of an up and coming mage backfires, triggering his innate mana hypersensitivity. 

He now has to survive in a merciless world as part of a soon to be common enemy with a crippling condition that hinders his growth, groomed to eat or be eaten as the law of the jungle is the only true law in the world he stumbled into.
