A very normal world going through the routines as humans and animals usually do starts being invaded by creatures they have only seen or heard of in books and movies. They have to defend themselves to survive against supernatural monsters. The humans also get the opportunity to grow stronger, for there is a reward when they kill their first outer worldly beast.
