The moon Goddess was displeased with him and bestowed upon him a punishment he would remember for the rest of his life. After all, that is what he gets for meddling in the affairs of the Gods.

"Imagine if those two could meet", Aphrodite sighed by the pond. She stared at the water with a look of longing and sighed again when no one paid heed to her.

Ares gave her a questioning look and picked a glass of wine. He had stolen it from a certain God when he was not looking.

He shifted his attention to the pale beauty sitting across from him while twirling the red liquid in his hand. He skin was the fairest of all and it was almost like he was staring at the moon as dark tresses fell around her face. She nibbled her thumb once or twice before she raised her head to Aphrodite's miserable form

"I think you're right"

Luna pushed the wooden chair away from the table and stood up with determination blazing in her eyes.

"Pairing them up will be for the greater good"
