He was 17 when the queen died, and he had heard nothing of the royal family since. He wasn't even sure there had been a royal family after that, but sure enough, when the king died, his daughter took the throne and revealed herself and her brother to the public. In fact, he had gotten an invitation to a lunch at the castle. All of his small neighborhood had. It was such a surprise when they got the letters, that they thought it was a joke.
