Kaia and Zayden were notorious for their achievements. Kaia being one of the best detectives in the New York Police Department, and Zayden for being the renowned Underground Prince, who was rich from his illegal ventures. They both had an eye on the other, and some would say they hated each other with a passion. 

After a police shootout gone wrong, the two of them find themselves bleeding on the concrete next to each other. Their last words being wishes to never see the other again. 

But fate has another plan for them. Kaia and Zayden find themselves in the afterlife in front of God. Instead of being reborn as an angel, Kaia is reborn as a devil who is the gatekeeper to hell, and Zayden is reborn as an angel who is the gatekeeper to heaven. 

God promises to give them back their old lives if they can correctly judge two hundred souls. Kaia and Zayden agree but there was something that God didn't tell them. 

In addition to judging two hundred souls correctly they must learn to live in cohabitation as husband and wife!
