17r old Leinad Amel is an average student attending Santa Monica Highschool during the last months of his junior year in Ecuador, after the sudden death of his mother, he has no other family members to stay with, until he receives a letter from a friend of his mother telling him that he has accepted the role of his parental guardian and purchases him a plane ticket to Tokyo, Japan his new home. Leinad attends Ikibo Academy as a foreign exchange student and must learn to adapt to his new environment than the one back home. He makes both friends and enemies along the way and creates a potential romance in the future.
