The sky turned a pitch black color even though it was the middle of the day as a pitch black portal of unknown origin appeared around the sun and beasts and demons straight out of a nightmare fell from the sky like meteors which terrified both human and vulcan alike. In only a week these demons were able too kill over one billion people and as a result this day was nicknamed "the dark day". Despite being surrounded by both demon and alien threats alike humanity somehow was able to keep on fighting for over 300 years even though their advanced technology could only kill some of the weaker beasts as some of the stronger demons were able to wipe out an entire armies with a single attack. Yet every day humanity lost more and more territory by the Vulcans who used their superior tactics to catch humanity off guard while demons and beasts fought with demonic levels of strength.
