Theory of Slavery
The age of the Roaring Twenties is marred by the outcome of the Civil War. The victory of the South marked the beginning of a new political regime: slavery is thriving, and the judge needs but one thing-the 'Slave Theory'-in order to deprive an innocent man of all rights of property, and to condemn him to penal servitude.
