Last King of Visigoths
In the year 711 AD, the mighty Visigothic Kingdom fell. At the Battle of Guadalete, King Roderic’s forces were shattered by the advancing Muslim army. Toledo, the sacred heart of Hispania, was lost in flames.
With the capital overrun and his kingdom collapsing, the remnants of the Visigothic nobility had no choice but to flee. In the face of annihilation, they turned to their last hope—a desperate flight northward to regroup and resist. Among them was a man who did not belong to this era, a soul from thirteen centuries into the future.
He awoke in the body of the only illegitimate heir to the dead king, with the weight of a dying kingdom upon his shoulders. The nobles urged retreat, the clergy spoke of divine punishment, and the warriors prepared for a final stand. But he knew one truth: history was not set in stone.
"I will not be the last king of the Visigoths."
With a mind shaped by the knowledge of a distant future, he would forge a new path—rallying scattered forces, reshaping the kingdom’s military, and embracing the wisdom from unexpected future.
As the storm of conquest sweeps across Hispania, the exiled king stands upon the precipice of history. Will he be remembered as the monarch who perished with his realm, or the ruler who defied fate and led his people to an impossible victory?
