Eye Of The Sky
Prologue: The Debt
The rain poured down like a relentless curse, casting a gloomy shadow over the city. In a cramped, dimly lit alleyway, a young boy named Blue stood frozen, his eyes fixed on the figure before him.
Lord Raymond, the notorious and wanted crime lord, sneered at Blue's Mum, his voice dripping with malice. "You knew the consequences of what you've done."
Blue's mother, Abigail, trembled, her eyes pleading for mercy. "Please, Raymond, you can have me but spare my son."
Lord Raymond chuckled, his gold pinky ring glinting in the faint light. "That, you're right. You see, I've been watching your son, he's got potential, sooner or later, I'll have to take him in."
Blue's mother, Abigail, gasped, horror etched on her face. "No, please! Not my son! you already have Phillip."
Raymond eyes locked onto Blue's, filled with a mix of shame and desperation. "you are mine now."
Lord Raymond's smile grew wider. "Excellent. Blue will start his training immediately. And don't worry, I'll take good care of him... as long as he doesn't act stupid like his stupid parents."
Facing his guards. "Throw her into the 7th pit".
As Lord Raymond's heavily armed escorts closed in with his mom being dragged away, Blue felt his world shatter. He was only 10, but his life was about to take a drastic turn. He would become a tool for Lord Raymond's criminal empire, forced to carry out the mafia lord's dirty work.
The rain continued to pour down, washing away Blue's innocence, leaving only a sense of foreboding and dread.
