She puts her powers to the test going around L.A. but then she spots something strange a dark cloud following a woman. When she follows the cloud and the woman she sees a demon doing something bad to her, she tries to stop the demon. But she’s not skilled at fighting demons. That’s until a group of teenagers come out of the shadows to fight off the demons in a skillful effortless way. Wendy, James and Chris tell Angela that they’re nephilims. Half angel, half human hybrids who protect humans from demons. And they tell Angela that a halo has entered her body and she’s now an angel and that the reason why there’s a halo inside her is because someone stole halos from heaven and is putting it in humans to build an army against God. The nephilims show Angela their headquarters and they teach her how to use her abilities. She’s introduced into the supernatural world and she tries to navigate herself as an angel while trying to become a new person as a teenage girl who is still in high school.
