Hyperborea

"Once upon a time..." "There was a young man named Fionn." "He was the king of the Hyperboreans, a civilization that thrived in the distant north of the world, where peace and harmony reigned beneath skies of eternal frost." "One day, during one of his habitual walks beyond the walls of his grand, crystalline castle, Fionn heard a peculiar sound—a sharp squealing that pierced the stillness of the white forest surrounding his domain." "Startled and alert, he gripped the hilt of his regal sword and followed the noise, his boots crunching softly over snow-dusted leaves. As he pushed through the pale foliage, the source of the sound revealed itself—a girl, cornered by a thur." "The creature was monstrous, towering over both the girl and Fionn himself. Its thick, gnarled skin was the color of ash, mottled with scars and patches of coarse, dark hair. A pair of jagged tusks jutted from its wide, snarling mouth, and its eyes glowed faintly, like embers in a dying fire. Long, sinewy arms ended in clawed hands that could snap trees like twigs, and its breath came out in ragged, steaming huffs, filling the air with a stench of decay." "The thur growled, advancing on the girl with a lumbering gait, its massive frame causing the ground to tremble faintly beneath its weight. Every instinct in Fionn's body screamed at him to flee, but he stood firm." "Drawing his sword in one fluid motion, the king lunged forward. With a single, decisive strike, he felled the monster, its roar silenced as it collapsed into the snow." "-Are you all right?- Fionn asked, his voice steady but gentle as he turned toward the girl." "But she didn't respond. She didn't even look at him." "Fionn frowned, puzzled by her silence. Perhaps she was too shaken by the attack to speak, he thought. Yet, something else caught his attention—something even more peculiar." "Her skin. It wasn't the pale, snowy white of the Hyperboreans. It was... pink. A soft, warm hue unlike anything he had ever seen." "-Ehm... I know this might sound a little inappropriate, but... where are you from? You don't look like anyone from here,- Fionn ventured cautiously, hoping for a reply. But still, she said nothing." "-Wait!- He suddenly realized, his eyes widening. -Could it be that you don't understand me?-" "If she didn't respond because she didn't know his language, then she couldn't be from Hyperborea—or even anywhere nearby. But where else could she be from? Beyond Hyperborea, there was only the vast, unending sea... wasn't there?" "-Could it be that she's from one of the other Nine Worl—- Fionn's thoughts were abruptly interrupted as the girl rose to her feet." "She stepped closer to him, her movements deliberate but strange, her expression unreadable. She—Oh!" ~Ronf~ ~Ronf~ ~Ronf~ "Looks like Artair is already asleep..." The mother lowered the book gently, a warm smile on her lips as she gazed at her son's peaceful face. "He must have played a lot today. I usually read him more of the story before he falls asleep..." Leaning over, she placed a soft kiss on his forehead. "Good night, my little Artair." With a quiet sigh, she tucked the blanket around him even more snugly than before, then rose from the bedside. Extinguishing the torch that lit his room, she left, closing the door behind her with care. In the dim stillness of the house, she paused, looking out through the small window at the darkened village. Her thoughts turned inward as she whispered to herself: "I hope, at least, that you'll be able to live a life free from war..."

Falling in Love with the King of Beasts

[COMPLETE] Reth stalked towards her, chin low so the shadow cast by his hard jaw cut across the thick fur collar of his vest. His hair had fallen over his eyes in the scuffle, so he peered at her through it like a lion in the grass. With each step, his graceful, rolling gait reminded her of a predator stalking its prey. Despite the forest floor littered in twigs and leaves, he didn’t make a sound. “Wh-who are you?” Elia stammered, backing away, her hands up. He met her step for step until she came up hard against the tree behind her—and didn’t stop until he loomed over her, so broad his shoulders and chest made a wall in front of her. She could feel the heat rising off his skin in the cool, night air. “I am the Leonine King.” His voice was a dark, husky gravel. Behind him a chorus of wheezes, howls, and chirps of agreement rose from the people watching. “And you are?” “Elia,” she breathed. “Elia,” he growled, leaning in closer, bringing with him the scent of pine and rain and the musk of something distinctly male. “I am Reth.” He said the name with a strange, guttural roll in his throat. “I am the King of Beasts. I am Clan Leader, and I am Alpha of WildWood.” Several snarls rose from the crowds behind him then, but he ignored them. Elia swallowed as he leaned in until the scruff on his jaw rasped her cheek. “I am the King,” he said, “And you will be my mate.” The forest behind him erupted. ****** Elia is a poor university student until the night she's taken to the world of the Anima—ruled by humans whose ancient hearts pulse with the blood of animals. There she's forced into a battle to the death. But when Elia survives, and refuses to kill her final opponent, the King must either kill Elia himself, or take her as his mate. Reth, the brutal King of the Beasts with the blood of lions, shocks everyone when he chooses the weak, human Elia to become his Queen. He promises her every comfort of his wealth and position—but he is clear: She will not warm his bed. He chose her to defeat those that were trying to corner him into blending his Leonine line with the Wolves. Elia needs the help of the Anima to become stronger and rule them well. But the vengeful Wolves see only a weak human that brought them shame. As Elia and Reth grow closer, the wolves are determined to destroy her. Will Reth and Elia admit their feelings for each in time to fight for the Kingdom—and their lives—against the villainous wolf-tribe? Or will the wolves kill Elia and steal the throne? On the other side of death - A story of love beyond the grave

When I was little, all I knew was fear. Fear of the gnawing hunger that consumed us from the inside. Fear of the biting cold that seeped through walls and wools and nipped at our toes and fingers. And fear of the ruthless lords who partied in the castle, up on the mountain, living off our work, our tears, our blood. We thought fear would keep us safe, make us cautious and wise. We prayed to our gods for protection, and paid our tithe to the vampire lords, and hoped for peace. Fear kept us in our place, my family and I. And it is in fear that they died. When I found them, mangled and covered in blood, l swore I would never live in fear again. If I were to die like them, l would at least die a brave death. I didn’t think that I might die a stupid death. All it takes is one wrong step. Tread on a twig, and they will hear you coming. Step on a viper and you will never have a chance to take on the vampire. There are so many things that can go wrong in the mountains. One moment, one tiny slip, and your life flashes before your eyes, every memory vivid and painful like a knife through the heart. And when you breathe your last, labored breath, the last thing you see is the vampire, leaning over you in the dark, moonless night, savoring his victory. My last thought, as I lay dying, was that, at least, there would be no vampires in the afterlife. Whether I was going to heaven or hell, I knew I had escaped him and his kind. There is no eternal rest for the undead, no passage into the world beyond. We would never meet again. Or so I thought. For the briefest moment, when I woke up in the tight coffin, I thought that I’d survived. But only for a moment. Then the painful realization hit me: my heart wasn’t beating. And, instead of the hunger that had ruled my entire life, I felt a dire thirst.

The Time Keeper.

Elias Ashborn is a highly intelligent and studious young man who has always been a dedicated student, pouring all of his time and energy into his academics. However, his single-minded focus on his studies has left him with little experience of the world beyond the pages of his textbooks. One fateful day, after an exhausting study session, Elias is suddenly and inexplicably transported to a strange new world that bears a striking resemblance to 19th-century Europe. In this new world, Elias discovers that magic is a forbidden and criminal practice, and those who are caught wielding its power are persecuted and hunted down. Despite his initial reluctance to interact with the people he encounters, Elias soon finds himself drawn into the complex and perilous struggle between various powerful factions, each vying for control of the world and its secrets. As Elias navigates this strange and dangerous new reality, he forms unexpected and unlikely friendships with the people he meets along the way. He uncovers secrets that should've stayed hidden, and he encounters great powers that only some dream of seeing. Through his experiences and struggles, what new things will he learn about himself and this brand-new world? ~~~ #BIG BIG WARNING# This is first and foremost a draft book as initially I was just putting this on Webnovel for my friends to read and eventually it'll be scrapped and rewritten much better once it's complete. So there will 100% be mistakes as this is also the first book I've written I also have a tendency to go back and edit already published chapters to fix plot holes and foreshadowing. Since I'm still writing this series this will happen a lot so some things might not make sense in later chapters if earlier ones have had changes.

RedBeeSAndAmber2's Real Name is Treasure Marie Denise Jackson and I am her, I collaborated with GOD A.K.A. Jesus Christ To help me write this book. The reason I made this is people who like pedophilia have caused others to be okay with adult women preying on boy minors so I made this story to actually rid the world of pedophilia between adult women and teenage boys and under. Jeremy is completely stunned... Narrator (Jeremy): to be honest I had no idea what I did to deserve being called an idiot. When Jeremy walked through the doors, Jeremy covered himself with a bunch of twigs with leaves attached to them. You can't see it cuz they're showing at the top of his body, which is what his Dad notices. "What are you doing with those Bush leaves or something- wait a minute why are you naked?!" His dad yelled and complete shock and awe and legit concern. Jeremy's dad pulled him in the house and took the twigs and leaves and put them on the table "were you attacked or something?!" Jeremy's dad said but Jeremy wouldn't respond. _________________________________________________________________________ This story is copyrighted. Bite of the Lycan

Jeremy stood there. Still under the light of the streetlamp. His eyes shot to the clouded sky, and the moon really was closer to earth that night. Great, and full, and red and big. Right in his face. There was another rustle, twigs breaking in the treeline just across the street, and then gravel skidding across the pavement. Jeremy felt paralyzed with fear, dread for what he knew, stalked him from those shadows. There he noticed, as his eyes adjusted to the darkness, a large, black blob of something shrouded under the tree limbs. Jeremy's breath hitched, as eyes of gold opened up, as illuminated a wolfish face, and then, it suddenly grew from a short black mass, to a tall and lengthy black mass, and from there. It took an elongated step towards the street lamp on it's side of the road. A tight skinned paw with curve, yellow stained claws, was first disclosed by the beam of light, and as it bent forward, half a wolf's ragged head, protruded, the fur in matted clumps across it's ghoulish, long and boney body. Then it stepped, almost purposefully into the light completely. It's whole body moving, expanding and deflating with every labored breath, and warm dry frost blew clouds out of wet nostrils and a gnarly fanged mouth. Its neck and down the length of it's beastly spine was heavily maned, but arms and chest and legs were naked with grey skin, veiney and painfully muscular, ribs protruding sickly. Like a large, mangy wolf that could stand on two legs, stared back at Jeremy. Seemingly calm, and deranged. Jeremy wanted to cry, run away, but he was captivated by it's stare. It didn't care that Jeremy could see it now. That's all it ever wanted. That's when the beast howled a grueling, raspy howl, that started out high and loud before it reduced to a ground shaking bellow, and that's when it lunged at Jeremy.

She tripped over a twig and was held by the arm upright. The moment she was gripped on the arm she felt a burning sensation and hissed in pain. He freaked out, naturally. He was raised as a future beta, one who would never submit to anyone other than his rightful packs beta. As was intended. Finding out he was supposed to be a submissive Alpha mate, and go from competing to search out his mate to being the one hunted panicked him. So he ran from home. Only to be captured by rogues. He was tortured for two years before the rogues ran when his pack caught wind of him. Once rescued and home his punishment was to receive therapy, and complete high school before being appointed Beta. His focus during that year was to take his weak submissive body and transform himself into what a natural born Beta was supposed to be. Over the last 5 years he successfully took himself from the skinny twig, to the 5'11" muscular, 160 pound beta that he finally felt comfortable with. Unfortunately he could only spend so much time hiding in this territory. After those five long years the council caught wind that he was 23 and has never participated in The Hunt. So two days before the annual Hunt, messengers arrived with a summons command for Parker, for the day of the Hunt. Will he be allowed to continue hiding from his mate? Or will his mate be notified he was found and he would be forced to participate in the week long hell fest known only as The Hunt?
