Vampire Sewed Up With Silver Thread

Threads of the Soul

A normal day is suddenly turned on its head when a single voice utters those fateful words into the minds of every single soul on the planet. [Assessment Complete. Activating Mutagen, Please Standby….] It was after those words that every single man, woman and child was granted the opportunity to gain fantastical abilities in the name of evolution. Not even the plants or animals were spared by the words of this mysterious voice. Yet not everyone got what they hoped for. Some developed no powers at all, their bodies not yet ready for the process. Others, were simply too frail to handle it. Mutating into horrific creatures, nightmares made real. Seth Quinn, a slightly below average IT worker, developed a unique ability. The Puppeteers Threads. Will he and those he loves survive in this hellish new world? Will his new ability lead him to a life of greatness he always dreamed of? Could he become a Master of Puppets? ----------------------------------------------------- Hello there, this book came after reading many of the others on here. I found that there were many things I wished they explored or genres that had more entries in them. So instead of waiting for them to be made, I decided to do it myself and free my trapped creativity. I hope you enjoy it. This is currently being written in the free time I have beside a job with a tricky schedule. I am trying to keep to a schedule of doing 4 - 5 chapters a week at minimum but will do more if i can. To make up for it I will try making the chapters between 1200 - 1400 words on average, to give you a little more to read, again sometimes even more. I hope one day I will be able to work on this more and deliver more chapters and future novels. Warnings for graphic descriptions of death and injury. There will be bloodshed. You have been warned.

The Lost Moon of silver

"Please, I have to go home." That's what I told the man in front of me. I begged him to let me go, but in my heart, I pray he never will.  How crazy is that? How can I feel safer with a stranger I've just met than the man who was supposed to love me until death? Why does he look at me like I'm the most beautiful thing in the world? Does he see the bruises? Is that why he's doing this? I should've never left the house, but I couldn't let him win. Not this time, but I hadn't counted on this. "He'll never hurt you again." I want to believe those words, but I don't know if I can. What if I'm going crazy? What if it's all a dream, and I wake up in the nightmare that's my life? I shouldn't trust him, but gods, why does his voice affect me like this? Why does he smell like lightning storms and heather? "Nefretiri? Do you know what a mate is?" No, he didn't just say that! Life isn't supposed to be this dark. That's what Nefretiri Jordans believed until her world came crumbling down. Her marriage was now a game of slave and master, and she would never win. Not when her husband was cruel enough to bring his mistresses to the house and act like Nefra was nothing more than a servant. She wants to run, but she can't. He'll never let her go, especially not with their new daughter. So, she has no choice but to live in hell and do her best to stay sane. Unfortunately, that line of sanity suddenly breaks when Ricky goes too far, and Nefra makes a stupid choice. After all, it's just a cake. Who cared about that?  Fate has a cruel sense of humor, and Nefra quickly learns that nothing is by chance. So, what started as a painful but necessary trip to the store turned into an unexpected adventure.  After all, she never put mate on her shopping list. Not that it mattered to Ivan. The Alpha of the Sebryanny Kinzhal pack from Colorado who's slowly coming back from a year of hell. All he wanted was to find peace and figure out what he was supposed to do with his life. The moon goddess had an answer, and she set him up to find the one thing he needed to be saved.  So, when Nefra crashed into his truck and he saw her, Ivan knew she was his destiny. Unfortunately for him, she's not on board and seems to belong to someone else. If Ivan wants Nefretiri to be his, he'll need to do more than earn her trust. Dark secrets are waiting to devour both of them, and more than one enemy is watching in the shadows to claim what both unknowingly hold.  Somehow, they must get past their pain to find each other and build something neither believed was possible again. Finally, it's time to put the cards on the table and bet it all. If they win, their lives will be more than either of them could ever dream, but if they lose, the darkness will destroy more than one life.

Serpent of Silver Flames

'Alarys Military Academy welcomes all the candidates to its doors. I would like to thank all the Kruvaryans for dispatching their youth to us. I may remind you again that this is not a sacrifice but a step towards the eternal prosperity of Kruvarys. Do your Army proud, so you do your Kingdom proud.' Alarys Military Academy was nothing more than a slaughterhouse and Gwen was one of the many sacrificial goats who were forcefully shoved into the entry trials this year. To live, she must survive. To live, she must bond with one of the fire-breathers. But even if she did survive the trials, she had to survive the military academy filled with the offspring of the generals who destroyed the lives of everyone in their Kingdom. However, later she figured out that she had more life-threatening problems in hand. In the Academy, a different sort of mystery awaited her and she couldn't help but think that there was something more sinister about the Military Academy than what met the eye. Bound with her enemy and the Governor General's handsomely infuriating son, Damian Thorndyke, she had to figure out the links between the magic of the lands and the sinister incidents that happened in the Academy every year. All her life, Gwen was considered an outcast for not having a magical moon stone just like every human on the lands. But now that she had the magic she yearned for, why did it seem like the magic in their lands was more of a curse than a blessing? ——— "You are no princess, Gwen," his fingers brushed her cheek as his twilight eyes bore into hers, "You are wild. A breathtakingly ethereal, murderous little venom. You bow to no one. And when I look at you? I am terrified. Terrified of the things that I would do for you." This is a fantasy-romance enemies to lovers trope. Update rate: 1-4 chapters every day, along with a mass release during the weekends. 1 super gift = 6 extra chapters Do support me by sending a gift!

Threads of Yesterday

The sun dipped low over the skyline of Austin, casting long shadows on the streets below. In the heart of the city, the hum of life pulsed on. Irena Valdez adjusted her lab coat as she stepped out of the biomedical research facility she called her second home. She had spent years carving a name for herself in the world of science, becoming one of the most sought-after lab technologists in the field. Her days were filled with precision, breakthroughs, and the satisfaction of knowing her work made a difference. Tonight, as she strolled down the sidewalk toward her favorite coffee shop, a sense of calm washed over her. Her life felt perfect—or close enough. Her marriage to Daniel was steady, filled with laughter, warmth, and the kind of trust that made her believe in forever. They were building a future together, one filled with love and mutual respect. The soft chime of the café’s bell greeted her as she pushed open the door. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee enveloped her like an old friend. Irena ordered her usual—an almond milk latte—and found a seat by the window. She pulled out her phone to catch up on messages, her mind still swirling with the day’s experiments. But then she heard it. A voice. Deep, familiar, and achingly tied to a part of her life she thought she had tucked away. “Irena?” She looked up, her heart skipping a beat. Standing there, holding a steaming cup of coffee, was Ethan Reyes. Her ex. The man who had once been her everything before life had pushed them apart. His face held a mixture of surprise and something else—nostalgia, perhaps? Time had etched faint lines around his dark eyes, but he was still unmistakably Ethan, with that easy confidence and the smile that had once unraveled her. For a moment, the café faded away, replaced by a flood of memories. The late-night drives, the laughter, the arguments that had burned like wildfire. The quiet moments when they thought they’d found forever. And the heartbreak when they realized they hadn’t. Ethan’s gaze flicked to her left hand, where the glint of her wedding band caught the light. He smiled, but there was a flicker of something unreadable in his eyes. “Mind if I join you?” he asked, his tone casual, though his question carried a weight they both felt. Irena hesitated for only a second, then nodded. “Sure.” As he sat across from her, the past and present collided in a way Irena hadn’t anticipated. She was happy—secure in her life with Daniel. But as Ethan leaned forward, his words carrying the echoes of their shared history, she realized the past never truly disappears. It lingers, waiting for moments like this to remind you of who you were, who you are, and the choices that shaped it all.
