Synopsis
In his past life, Kim was Kim Tae, betrayed and killed by his own father. Now, he's mysteriously reborn as the third master of the wealthy Woo family. However, Kim's current mother, Sulin (also known as Yan Yan), is a ruthless and manipulative woman driven by greed. She orchestrates Taeyang's kidnapping, threatening him to coerce Kim. Kim, fueled by rage and a desire for revenge, transforms into a hardened individual, emotionally detached and cunning. He meticulously plans Sulin's downfall, trapping her in a remote warehouse for psychological torment.
His plan culminates at sea, where Kim confronts Sulin, intending to recreate a past trauma. However, Sulin, in a desperate act, pulls a hidden gun and shoots Kim. The impact causes Kim to reflexively squeeze his own trigger, and the bullet strikes Sulin, killing her instantly. Kim, gravely wounded, falls into the sea, believed dead by his family.
After a year of grief and a seven-month coma, Kim is found by fishermen and wakes with amnesia, though he instinctively remembers the name Taeyang. He is taken in by a kind stranger, Mr. Shen, and eventually, an unexplainable pull leads him back to Taeyang and his family. The reunion is joyous but bittersweet, as Kim struggles to remember. Through Taeyang's unwavering love and a moment of intense pain, Kim's memories flood back, allowing him to finally embrace his identity and the profound connection he shares with Taeyang, promising to face all challenges together.
