The unseen scars of Alex Wayne - ( Moved to a new link )

Anthony Wayne struggled tirelessly in the sunbaked fields of his family’s farm, yearning to extricate himself from the clutches of poverty. But fate was unkind and deprived him of his wife Emma through her sudden death. Intended to stand as his children’s guiding light, his legacy would instead be characterized by treachery at their father’s demise. The farm belonged not only to Alex, but also a troubled history. It became an arid landscape filled with shattered dreams when reality crushed them against its rough edges. Treachery slid into his heart like a poisonous snake. Once upon a time John had been Alex’s closest friend; he now shared stolen moments with Vivian-Alex’s own woman. In a dimly lit hotel room they betrayed Alex and the memory is etched painfully in him forever. Haunted by the broken trust, Alex rebuilt his life from scratch. His sweat fertilized his land while tears moistened vengeful seeds. However, Vivian sold their joint venture—the rice processing company—to John and Alex's world fell apart. Litigation followed and Felix Gallardo fought hard on his behalf without end. But in this situation, justice hung by a thread because of John’s ill-gotten riches. When the sun sunk below the horizon, Alex was left naked—without respect—and he became a beggar in a world of lust for wealth. Love had not been lost yet it found him again. Olivia with eyes like sunflowers turned to be his backbone. From their son Nathan Wayne emerged hope: a gleaming light that would resonate through courtrooms as proof of resilience against betrayal. “Will Nathan Wayne recover the lost honor of his family? Or will shadows cast by past darken them forevermore?”

My Wife's Old Friends

People have always said I looked younger than I am. Some may take this as a complement, but to me, it's a curse. Despite being 26, I am often mistaken for a child, around 12 or 14. I would like to thank the graceful genes my parents have given to me! Now I am stuck with a short stature and a baby face for life. The fact that I need glasses doesn't help either. Though, my parents have also given me a second gift. They've managed to secure an arranged marriage to one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen - Jaya. She is almost a goddess. Her tall figure complements her womanly curves - especially around her chest and waist. She takes great care of her silky smooth hair, which flows like the wind. Her dark, clean complexion gives off a mature vibe. An Indian queen. She may be a bit quiet personality wise, but is always caring and responsible. Whenever we have a child, she has the mother part down. Honestly I was a bit iffy on the marriage, but since both of my parents were on good terms, I decided to go with it. We had our traditional marriage, and moved into this nice suburban house I bought (with my money, all thanks to selling a startup I made). The first month was probably one of the best times of my life. We spent so much time together. She actually liked my humor, and would listen to the stories I had about looking younger than I am. We'd often do this during dinner eating her delicious meals. However, things have been really different ever since I met her friends. She and her friends have started treating me like a little kid, and they want me to call them Auntie (even though I'm older than them)! Not only that, she's also been letting a guy into our lives, a childhood friend of hers. He seems salty about our marriage, often puts me down due to our build difference, and tries to get my wife for himself.
