It has always been her dream to live a normal life. To live in the experience and not just exist. She wanted to make memories with “friends” and maybe have the privilege of falling in love.
Now, her dreams might come true because of her parent's separation… It couldn't be called a divorce because they were still going to call each other to do adult stuff since they believed in chastity.
Her father was a wealthy business owner. Well, he has a conglomerate of businesses that were thriving well and since she was his only child– he had spoiled her with his money.
Her mother on the other hand was an influential model. She had walked on thousands of famous runways. It was on one of the runways she had met her husband and ‘fallen in love'.
She had a son from her previous relationship but after getting married, she decided to be faithful as a wife and mother now the marriage was breaking up slowly but steadily.
After the separation, her mother decided to go back to her motherland, Nigeria, and start anew leaving her Japanese husband in the States. And of course, her daughter decided she wanted to go with her.
This is the story of sixteen-year-old biracial Angel Iura Achebe as she embarks on a journey to live a normal life.
