Monty's parents try to drop him out of before the end of the semester. Or they may never want to learn the frightening truth that aliens are invading their middle school. The young students must survive the invasion before graduation. Because the aliens will rule the ghoul school and take victory in their celebration. And the grown-ups might not get along with the alien leader who is very mad at them for not believing they exist. The aliens want to show they can be friendly, too. To help the mortal human beings in the small town to make believe in their existence. So aliens can make anybody believe in supernatural life forces. It's all about believing and understanding the purpose of the alien leader who wants to take over middle school. Not before the young students discover the aliens have a weakness. To get them to get along with the human race. Or the school will attract ghouls to take the student's life force so the aliens can invade middle school. While the grown-ups face with the faculty members to gain knowledge about why they study about monster life. To keep them a secret against young children with a dark gifted purpose.

Some vampires want to stay hidden and control people from the shadows but others want to assert dominance. There are two groups of vampires; the Bleeders and the Whispers. The Bleeders are aggressive and violent. They see humans as either livestock or potential vampires. They see the Whispers as weak and helpless. On the other hand, the Whispers are passive and want the blood market to be built on trust and consent. They don't like to draw attention to themselves and only feed when necessary. The story follows a humble barber named Montgomery "Monty" Levey. His life is pretty average but one night he's attacked by a Bleeder and a Whisper turns him into a vampire to save his life. Monty learns the ways of the Whispers and learns to navigate the blood market.

A merciless Alpha, notorious for hunting the mates of his enemies, uses loneliness to his advantage until his mate arrives, starting England's biggest wolf hunt. Krey Graymer is heartless and feared by many. As the new Alpha of the most powerful pack in the country, Krey rules the only way he knows how; on anger, grief, and dominance.
