Bruce Banner Loki

Libera Corvus

In the slums of Sector VI, a young boy named Veran and his sister Avelyn struggle to survive in the shadows of the powerful lords of the Corvus Empire. Orphaned by a senseless battle, they were left with nothing but each other and a dream—a dream of escaping the harsh reality of their world to live freely among the stars. But freedom comes at a price, and Veran is willing to pay it with blood, deceit, and unflinching resolve. Driven by a fierce determination to give his sister a better life, Veran claws his way up through the rigid, class-divided society of Corvus. He starts from the dirt, a nameless orphan surviving by any means necessary, but as the empire teeters on the brink of change, Veran seizes every opportunity—no matter how dark or twisted—to secure a place of power. Along the way, he learns that to achieve true equality under one united banner, sacrifices must be made, and ideals must be broken. From the streets to the battlefield, and eventually to the highest echelons of Corvus, Veran’s journey is a brutal one. He does not shy away from cruelty, deception, or ruthlessness when necessary. As his influence grows, he becomes a key figure in shaping a new Corvus—an empire where all citizens, regardless of their birth or wealth, stand equal in unity. This novel is a tale of ambition, sacrifice, and the dark path one man must tread to forge a new future. It’s the prequel to Once Upon the Void, yet stands on its own as a powerful narrative of how the corrupt, divided empire of old was reforged into something greater—by the hands of a man who rose from nothing. Author's Note: This novel is a prequel to Once Upon the Void, thousands of years in the past. Whether you start with this story or the other, both will introduce you to the various species, cultures, worlds, and locations in the world of my Novel. The choice is yours

A Love Written In The Stars

——— Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. My body stiffened as a palace guard called for me from the other side, but I ignored it. Mei, on the other hand, began pushing me away in a panic. "Cheng, let go," she said, struggling in my arms. "Can't you hear him? What if he comes in and sees us like this?" "I don't care," I replied, my lips brushing her ear. "Tell me you forgive me, that's all I need. I won't let go until you do." I knew I was taking a risk, a huge one, if we were seen like this, there would be consequences. But losing Mei would be the bigger risk, the one I couldn't take. I couldn't let her slip away. "I just need to hear you forgive me, mei. That's all I need right now." The guard knocked again, calling my name, and Mei struggled harder. "Cheng, please," she said, her voice cracking under the strain. But I didn't budge. Finally she muttered, "Fine. I forgive you." "I forgive you, you crazy jerk." "You really mean that?" I asked, my voice barely audible. She nodded, exasperated, and only then did I release her. Just as I did, the door swung open, and I barely had time to step back before the palace guard entered, the guard rushed in, his face pale with worry. It was a close call. too close, but I didn't care. Mei flinched at the intrusion, but quickly composed herself, stepping away from me to a more respectable distance. The guard, wide-eyed and clearly flustered, fell to his knees in a bow. "My deepest apologies, Your Highness. I called for you several times but received no reply. I entered out of concern, fearing the worst." I glanced at Mei, but she wouldn't meet my eyes. She simply gave the guard one last look and walked out, leaving the room without a word. I let out a long, exhausted sigh, running a hand through my hair, still reeling from everything that had just happened. Turning back to the guard, I motioned for him to stand. "Get up" "And next time, don't enter my room without permission." ———— Desperate for an heir, the Emperor strikes a dangerous deal with Lokiàn Shén, a 100,000 year old demon. The God of Calamity’s Wife

Centuries ago, war shattered Asgard. Tired of living in the shadow of the Aesir, Loki and his creatures of chaos sought the respect they believed was their due. Their rebellion, however, brought only death, exile, and the fleeting victory of the Aesir. But gods cannot die forever, and Loki’s defeat came with a prophecy: the war would come again, and next time, he would be ready. Many began to question whether Odin was truly fit to rule the realms. (But that was not my concern. I am an entity of death, a Fylgia bound to the cycles of life and fate. My interest lies elsewhere—with two souls cursed by Odin to live, die, and repeat their lonely existence for eternity. Sirius and Saoirse. For centuries, I’ve watched them endure lives destined for isolation and suffering. I’ve grown tired of their pain. What if they didn’t have to be alone? What if I could give them a chance to defy fate? And, perhaps, what if I could become part of the story that I’ve shaped? These were my thoughts leading up to the beginning of this story. But meddling with destiny has consequences. I probably should have paid more attention to that war, because what I didn’t realize was, by changing one thing, a ripple would expand across the realms that nobody could have anticipated.) Sirius and Saoirse, they weren’t just any Vampire and Werewolf that could have been brought together. They are creatures that must come to terms with the demon beasts inside of them or bringing them together might just end up finishing what Loki’s children had started. author note: This story builds a bit slower at the beginning and then picks up more action when they get to Asgard, so don’t worry, this book will have 500 chapters and this is just the beginning!

THE DEVIL'S SUCCESSOR SYSTEM

In a world where the forces of good and evil are locked in an eternal struggle, a decisive battle unfolds on a sunlit battlefield. On one side, the humans stood in disciplined rows, their armor gleaming in the sunlight, banners fluttering in the wind. On the other side, a lone figure in a dark robe, eyes glowing red, and a crazed smile on his face, stood defiantly. "Devil, surrender now or face our wrath!" the leader of the human army commanded. The so-called devil remained silent, raising his hand and beckoning them with a taunting gesture. "Come get me," his motion seemed to say. That was the signal. The army charged forward, weapons raised, determined to vanquish the evil before them. But as the battle commenced, it quickly turned into a one-sided massacre. The devil moved with terrifying speed and power, cutting down soldiers left and right. The cries of the fallen filled the air, and those at the back, seeing the hopelessness of their fight, turned and fled in panic. "Running away, are we?" the devil sneered. "Don't think you'll escape alive!" He pursued them relentlessly, his massacre unceasing until only the leader remained, standing amidst the carnage. "You truly are a devil," the leader gasped, his voice trembling. "I am not the devil," the figure replied, his voice cold and menacing. "I am Blackheart." With that, Blackheart seized the leader's head and, with a gruesome twist, tore it from his body. Holding the severed head aloft, he shouted to the heavens, "Are you going to keep watching, oh 'god,' or do I need to do more to get your attention?" His crazed smile never wavered as he awaited a response from the silent sky. --------------------------------------------------------- Will the god respond to Blackheart's taunt, or will the world be left to face his wrath alone? What is Blackheart's true purpose, and why does he seek the attention of the divine? Can anyone stand against Blackheart's overwhelming power, or is humanity doomed to fall before him?
