Perhaps things could've gone differently if the QISP (Quadaric International Socialists Party) had won, though it would be treasonous and un-citizen-;ike to think and to assume such a thing. You wouldn't want to be a dissident, would you? Or else, one would have to be sent to the Mental Purification Room. Or maybe even worse, the Thought Extraction Chambers?
