The General's Wife Wants to Leave

Experiencing a suffocating marriage with the man whom she was arranged to marry made Joanna want to leave him. But it was a failure as she died as the wife of the man who abandoned her and her son before they divorced. On the verge of her death, she made a wish to not encounter him again if there was a next life. She wished for the end of their fate only in this lifetime. She wanted to forget everything about him. However, when she opened her eyes again, she found herself in the room of the mansion of the man she just married. She was awakened by a dream that seemed to be a nightmare of her past life. She didn’t remember completely everything that had occurred in her past life and the dream was fragmented. But deep inside her heart, she only felt one thing. She was adamant about leaving him, to be far away from him. Therefore, she left his mansion just before she met him in person in the present lifetime. However, what she didn’t expect was that the so-called husband pursued her, not allowing her to leave him. Would Joanna be successful in leaving the man in this lifetime? Would fate play the same tragedy as her past life? --- As he pulled his finger away from her soft, warm lips, he said, “It is good you stopped winding up, Joanna. Otherwise, I would have used the other method to make you stop blabbering over the same, boring topic endlessly.” When he noticed the stubborn woman was about to prove herself to be stubborn, the man leaned forward in a swift movement, facing the woman’s stupefied face which was an inch away from his. “Continue to blabbering, don’t blame me if I apply my other method right now,” the man murmured above her breath, trailing his gaze from her quivering eyes to her lips before moving it back to her now widened eyes. --- *Cover doesn’t belong to the author. Emovere

Emovere, once a lost nation, would be changed by one man and his family in the 1400s. Over the span of 1000 years the once peaceful land would become ravaged with civil wars that decimated the land leaving it with only 6 of its 50 original states. Some time between then and now a Queen tried her hardest to save this goddess forsaken land, but like every other inkling of hope she too disappeared without a reason. But with her absence appeared a powerful weapon: Wheel of Breath! Nobody knew how this mysterious power worked nor was everybody able to use them. In fact, to this day there’s only been a total of 100 Wheel of Breath users. Fast forward to the 2400s, present day Emovere, and the land continues to be ravaged with war, every state lost most of their cities and now the chatter of Tournouá Tou Ménos has been spread. What is this Tournouá Tou Ménos and who is this mysterious individual named Tournament said to be its host? For Felichs these concerns are secondary. Their one and only priority is their mother who’s dying from a serious illness. Their mother has been their rock for years, even in her short absence in the military. They feel entitled to repay her for everything she’s done for them, so when they both get visited by Tournament one night Felichs’ world is flipped upside down. Now Tournouá Tou Ménos intrigues them. With the winner receiving Ménos, a flower said to give someone eternal happiness, is the perfect way to repay their mother before she passes away. A final moment of happiness is what Felichs seeks, but so do many others that plan to stand in their way. Will Felichs be able to attain Ménos? What will come of Emovere? What is Tournament’s true intentions with Tournouá Tou Ménos? AND WHAT HAPPENED TO BERT! "You know...you can never be hurt by someone if you just...let nobody near you. I learned a long time ago that no matter what title you give a person, friend...family, it doesn't matter, they'll all turn their backs on you eventually. That's why I stopped trying to grow close to people. And sure, don't get me wrong it hurts...it hurts like hell...today I woke up and I wished I hadn't...this never-ending cycle of pain...l just want it to all be gone, I know I'll never be happy, but if I could have just one moment of peace...just one measly second...it'd be nice..." ~ Felichs
