The Dragon Village
In the fantasy world of Elysia, Aviva has been on the run since she could remember, protecting herself and her younger sister Amelia. After their mother's death, they lead a life of stealing from the wealthy and the dragon riders, with Aviva gaining the reputation as the Silver Haired Thief. After five years of evading capture, one of the Dragon Rider teams finally catches her.
She is faced with three choices: life in prison, revealment of her identity or a dragon rider.
So instead of a life sentence or a trial in front of the imperial court, Aviva took the chance to join the dragon riders and keep her identity safe, after all, she has a bonded.
She reluctantly became a member of team 10 and found friendship in an unlikely pair of twins. She began to whole Heartly trust the one and form a close bond with the other.
Just when Aviva thought that she could live her life freely, as she did the past few years, her past came back to haunt her. She is faced with endless trial and fights she never wanted. Her responsibility increased tenfold, along with her fear.
Secrets from all sides came to light and challenged the bonds that people swore were unbreakable.
With war on the verge of breaking out between the five Kingdoms of the Elysia Empire, will Aviva and her companions be able to survive and navigate between the lies and deception?

"Why didn't you tell us?",
"I thought I was finally free, that I could live my life without worrying about this! Do you know how it feels to be on the run for all your life? To jump at every sound and shadow!"
................................................................................................................
"In all our talks of war and alliances, I never thought that I would consider a human as my closest companion. Maybe it is your sarcasm."
"Or maybe it is because I am the only one that is still willing to gamble with you."
"Possibly true. Shall we play a game of cards to decide the tide of this meeting?"

"When we needed you the most, you left! You left a child to look after a fricken child!"
"I needed to leave to kill him! He took my beloved away!"
"And you didn't kill him, did you? No! but you made damn sure that we grew up without a father. Screw you."
