Zombie Apocalypse In Another World

“For you see, Watson!” “I told you, my name isn’t Watson, it’s Brett.” A clean shaven man covers his face in exasperation at the ridiculous situation. “Being the greatest scientist in the land, I will solve this Zombie problem!” A crazy looking old man says as he leaps to his feet. “I thought you said you were a doctor.” Brett replies. “Shut up! Now, we just need to bring in people from another world until we find one that is resistant to the Zombie disease. By gathering people with widely varying DNA we increase the chance that one will have some odd trait or innate immunity.” The doctor croaks. “I guess, but couldn’t someone on this planet just as easily have something like that?” “We don’t have time. We need to find a cure as quickly as possible. It may only be in one or two towns at the moment but it will soon spread like wildfire and engulf the entire planet!” “Couldn’t we try to quarantine the area and prevent it from spreading.” “Haven’t you ever seen a Zombie movie? That never works.” The doctor waves off Brett as he approaches the summoning circle. “Right, I’m sure those movies were all scientifically accurate.” Brett says as he rolls his eyes. “Also, how do you plan on using someone’s DNA to make a cure? This is a medieval society with no modern technology. We can’t cure a headache let alone manipulating the genome to cure some Zombie disease.” “All in a matter of course, dear Watson.” Doc says as he begins activating the summoning circle. “For the last time, my name’s Brett!” “You may not be able to see as far ahead as I can, but I assure you, I have everything under control. My genius has already begun to bear fruit as I have created the first of many modern installations!” “All you did was make a table.” Brett responds as he walks towards the solid steel table at the center of the summoning circle. “And didn’t you make this with magic? How can you call that a scientific advancement?” “To you it may be just a table but to me it’s the first step to saving the world! Activate!” The summoning circle glows as magic power courses through the complicated runes. A bright light flashes and suddenly an unconscious man is lying flat on the table. “It worked! Check to see if he’s okay!” “Are you surprised it worked? I thought you said you tested this thing.” “Shut up and check on him!” Brett places his hand on the man’s neck to check his pulse. “Yup, he’s fine.” “Fantastic! And you didn’t even collapse into a black hole from touching him.” “I’m sorry, what?!” “Oh, due to the disruption in spacetime there was a small chance something like that could have happened. Obviously, it was nothing to worry about.” “Maybe for you! Why didn’t you say anything before I touched him?!” “Quiet, he’s waking up!”

Project: TUS

Once, of many, a young boy asked to himself if he can go out of his room and onto the outside to face the world and asked, "Can he make friends? Or perhaps be happy?" A question that often floated above on alot of people, yet also unsuccessful onto their journey. "A single decision, a movement, how can it make a difference?" he also asked. Doubt, an reaction to neigh impossibility, a step forward can be one more step to deceit and failure. An conclusion made it to his mind, "Yet I myself, know the answer." The fear of consequence, plagued the mind of man. The inevitably cause of the present, actions of the past, the shift of the future of maybe, a tomorrow. "Yet you asked, 'why?'" Often the question, with the silence answering for him. "Then go outside, is only I advised." ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is a story of a young man, like every young man, wanted to go out to live his life to the fullest, who probably ended up sleeping outside his own house after forgetting where he put the keys and realise it was in his hidden pocket this whole time in the morning. A young man who was deprived of interaction and lack of slight common sense, a desire to be 'One of them' as often like the 'people' he looked and watch on the confines of his own room. Prompting a desire and temptation to leave and run everytime he smell nature on the tip of his nose. However, he finally got an opportunity, an opportunity he, oh so, secretly yearned for a long time is on his hand is now weighted of an simple answer. "Yes" OR "No" Though much complicated than that, a single decision of his can change his life forever. Oh so, he thought. WARNING : This is my first time, and may contain irregularities due to my status as a novice in this field, I am writing this as a pass time in quarantine to wait for my schoolwork. With that aside, this story's phase may be slow in your standards. Though I am very confident in my skills, I am confident to at least attempt to write a good story. Remember~nya! You have Nya~arned!

In Command

In the year 2226, a contagion has infected 45% of the Human Population on most of the main continents, self-quarantine becoming a popular form of avoiding contamination. Virtual Reality platforms, which had long since become a main staple for gamers and most technologically savvy professions in their daily lives, have expanded into the fields of jobs and lives of those who were almost entirely devoid of them. Farms were operated by indirectly controlled androids to circumvent the contamination of food. Grocers used artificial bodies guided from home to retrieve their additional nutrient and subsistence supplements simultaneously with other daily requirements. As a social species of mammalians, humanity looked for ways to link together through these series of platforms and the most accepted form of social interaction was playing games with friends, family, and strangers. Following the year 2232, a new virtual reality RPG game that incorporates the simulation of the senses including feeling, hearing, smell, and touch was released World Wide known as 'The Rise of Planets.' There were over 100 pre-made races to choose from, ten starting vocations and over a thousand different unlock-able professions. Players could form Guilds based completely customizable that act as conquerable space stations or build a Capital Ship to act as the center of their multi-player fleets. Four years later after its release, a teenage young man named Jack is bedridden in a hospice facility as he is terminally ill with the contagion and is living his daily life in the game as the Pirate King. Half of his Guild Members had long since died, and he was on his way out. As his vital organs began to slowly fail, a message screen appeared: "After evaluating your track record in-game, we'd like to grant you an exclusive offer. Beta Update 1̒͂̇.̀̇̔2̇̾͞9͑͘̚5̐͗̿8̉̌́.̏̃͞2̾̽͠1͗̐̅ is now available for independent update and play. Would you like to update?" There was no other choice other than [confirm] and no other in-game functions were working. So, pressing the button, everything faded to white and the pain went away.

Quarantine Stories

Basically a bunch of personal events that has happened during the quarantine and realizations. Some family stuff, too. Read at your own bored discretion. The characters are mine. Yes, these events REALLY happened and I wrote down my thoughts. There should be absolutely zero spelling errors unless I feel lazy and don’t read over it. I changed the names of my family because of obvious security reasons. These stories are for you readers to read, of course, but also maybe to learn from. These are moments I get the urge to write and when I write about it, there’s usually some sort of moral lesson. Of course, this lesson was accidental but at the same time, it’s probably worth reading if there’s a chance you’ll learn something. Maybe I’ll create a “diary” after this whole Quarantine thing and I can tell the story of my life. I would absolutely LOVE to do that because I have so many diaries. As of the moment I am 15 years old, turning 16 in May of 2020. And no, I do NOT have 20/20 vision. My vision sucks, I wear glasses. Anyway, guys, enjoy this. The stories are relatively short, so no need to worry about a wall of words or start to think “when will it end?” Because you will find that it will end quite sooner than you could imagine. Though, from people who read novels on WebNovel, you may find that these are very short. I’m not very into writing things that haven’t really happened. That is the only reason I haven’t added to my far more fictional stories. I did NOT look over this (I actually just did and I’ve found that there are zero errors which makes me very satisfied with myself) so this probably has a few grammatical errors, but I’m sure you all will live. Anyway, I’ve come to have a little saying on this app and that is READ ON!
