ETERNAL THIEF: THE UNREMARKABLE MISS SEVENTH
Pain spread throughout her body, the excruciating agony tearing through her like a thunderclap, pulling Aurora Starling from the depths of darkness.
With great effort, she pried open her sore, heavy eyelids. As weak light filtered in, a cacophony of harsh voices filled her ears.
"She has no one to blame but herself for her lack of skill. It's sheer luck that she was rescued this time; next time, she might not be so fortunate."
"A good-for-nothing should know their place. Knowing full well she's trash, yet still courting death — she's brought nothing but shame to our family."
The voices of a man and a woman echoed in Aurora's ears.
Who the hell are these two bastards to call her a waste? When did such insufferable fools pop up in the organization?
This was a world vastly different from modern society, a blend of ancient Eastern and Western cultures, filled with mysterious martial energy and wondrous magic. Even dragons, creatures that only existed in stories, were real in this extraordinary world.
As a master thief from the 24th century, Aurora Starling could hardly believe that she, who should have been dead, had somehow been reborn into the body of this young girl. What was even more laughable to Aurora was that this girl shared her name — Aurora Starling.
She now found herself on a land known as the "Luminous Continent," within a kingdom called the "Dragon Pavilion Empire." The body she inhabited belonged to the seventh young lady of one of the five great families of the Dragon Pavilion Empire — the Bennu Family. By rights, this should have been an adored and pampered existence, yet as the two brats had pointed out, the body's owner was indeed a genuine waste.
The favorite pastime of this family, besides honing their martial energy and magic, was tormenting her, the so-called "waste."
"Hisss." The sudden movement tugged at the wound on her waist, and Aurora ground her teeth, examining the injuries on her new body, a cold smile playing on her lips.
Useless? Idiot?
Those words had never applied to her.
The wheels turned, carrying the passengers towards the unknown territory. As they distanced themselves from the borders of the Dragon Empire, step by step drawing nearer to the fabled forbidden land, they entered the shadow of the dark clouds. A legend of their own was silently unfolding.
None of them could have imagined that this venture would lead them to witness the founding of the "City of Demons." Nor could they foresee that they would behold the birth of the "Demon Lord," whose actions would shake the entire continent and rewrite countless histories.
This was only the beginning...
