Fifteen years ago, the legendary swordsman Dran wielded the Red Katana to defend the village of Xiphosia from a ruthless enemy, Dextin who wields the green katana and still seeks more power. Their clash was said to shake the heavens, but when the battle ended, Dran was gone, and Dextin mysteriously vanished. In the years that followed, the village awaited Dextin’s return, knowing that when he resurfaced, war would follow.
Now, Dran’s son, Rider, is expected to inherit his father’s legacy and master the Red Katana. Trained by Aingo—Dran’s closest friend—Rider struggles under the crushing weight of expectation. Despite his efforts, he falls short, unable to live up to the legend his father left behind.
Tensions rise when a skilled swordsman named Zack arrives in Xiphosia, claiming he will take the Red Katana for himself. His confidence and skill shake the village, and with a grand tournament announced by the King to determine the next Sword Master, everything is set in motion. As the tournament draws near, Rider is forced to question his own worth, Aingo is confronted by the fear of failing his sworn duty, and in the shadows, an old enemy prepares to return.
