THE BLOODLINE’S CURSE
Hannah is absorbed in her school project when she hears her mother calling her downstairs. However, there’s something unsettling in her mother’s tone, a growing urgency that she can’t ignore. Intrigued yet cautious, Hannah begins to make her way down the stairs. Suddenly, she’s pulled into the nearby laundry room, a hand clamped over her mouth to stifle her reaction.
To her shock, it’s her mother—eyes red and filled with terror.
With a trembling whisper, her mother warns, “Don’t go down there, honey. I heard it too.”
A cold chill washes over Hannah as she realizes that something, or someone, is downstairs, calling to her in her mother’s voice. But if her real mother is here, then who—or what—could be waiting at the bottom of the stairs?
