THE SISTERS WE WERE

Hidden Ties: The Sisters We Were Zoey and Lily are two sisters that were separated at birth, and couldn’t be more different. Raised by his loving but suffering for grandparents, the spirited and hard working daughter of a poor family, Zoey. Frankly, her life is the struggle of a daily sacrifice, but she can’t afford to let go and just live in the days. The rich were the parents of Lily, however, for the other subject she was born in the lap of luxury as the sweet and dote daughter of a family. She had everything money could buy, she had a powerful businessman of a father who gave her everything, but left little room for emotional warmth. Poised and polished, she was raised, but underneath there had to be a yearning for actual connection. When Zoey, who’s working as a maid to support her family, begins serving at the mansion where Lily lives her life crosscuts with the sisters. They’re strangers at first, but they’re inexplicably attracted to each other. However, over time the horrific truth of their mutual bloodline becomes fact that dismantles their own conception of who they are and where they are, and where they belong in the world. With Alex Walker there to complicate matters what with Lily being his charming fiancé, their reunion isn't complicated enough. When Lily's father’s business partner’s son, Alex, becomes captivated by Zoey’s authenticity it creates an unbrokeable and magnetic bond between them. And all this unspoken connection between Alex and Lily, threatens to make them throw all three of them into a storm of loyalty, betrayal, love and blood — in that order. With emotions running high and family secrets unraveling, The Sisters We Were: Hidden Ties focuses on identity, loyalty and the walking line between love and duty. Zoey and Lily find themselves with a new bond, but as they settle into that bond they have to wonder if blood ties are enough to bridge the gap between their world and hers, or if the truth will destroy them.

If We Were On Mars

Life was never fair, and I don't think it will ever be. One time, I thought, 'Wow....I must've killed a nation on my previous life. And now, living another life is my punishment.' Everyone gets tired, but this is just another level of exhaustion. Everyday is a just vicious cycle of me struggling with life. It's a shame that I get to wake up every morning when there are others who don't. I feel like I'm just waiting to be one of those people. Everyone is nice to me, and at the same time, they're not. There are people who use me, but at the same time, I feel useless. People often congratulate me, but I still feel like a failure. I have many achievements, but I feel like a lost cause. No one ever knew me, until our paths crossed...For the first time in ever, I met my self. We did shared wonderful moments until fate took you from me. It would've been perfect, but life will never let that be. If we can't be together in this life....let us meet again, in a world where no one nor nothing could stop us. Aking hihintayin ang ating muling pagkikita, ginoo. Hayaan nating maulit ang plano ng tadhana na tayo'y magtagpo...aking sisiguraduhin na ating mababago ang mapait na wakas na nakatakda.

I Thought Rogues Were Useless

Modern Society changed 82 years ago when the entire world received the same message. [Welcome to the League!] [Since your world is so underdeveloped, you will be given a grace period of 100 years.] [To help your species grow, Dungeons will be available to conquer, along with Gates.] [Good luck!] After that monsters appeared all over the world and more than half the population was wiped out before Human's began to learn to defend themselves. Modern weapons were useless, but Humanity discovered something far more potent. The system. Everyone on Earth received a status screen, much like a game, that rewarded them with insane growth when they killed monsters in dungeons or gates. Through the past 82 years, society changed into one that abided by the law of the jungle again. Only the strongest survive, which also gave birth to preconceived notions of what classes given by the system were strong. If you got a weak class from the system, you were condemned to a life of struggle, and the conceived weakest class was the Rogue. There were almost no Rogues who were able to fight any other class the same level as them, since the class was only useful as a scout, or to spy on your enemies. Yes, while Humans had developed and grown stronger, they grew more divided. Causing people from Guilds to be at odds with other Guilds, forgetting that the original purpose was to grow stronger as a collective for what was to come after 100 years. What came after 100 years was that we were now in a dimensional tournament to bid for our survival. Failure to win meant that your dimension was wiped clean, to be grown from scratch to try again billions of years later. All for the enjoyment of various Gods. Follow Xeon as he discovers that the Rogue class he has been relentlessly bullied for having, has more potential than the world previously thought.
