Yet, there are those who seek to control the beasts and the very Visionary Garden where all this power originates. Reincarnated in Middle-Earth: The Legacy of Light

**Introduction:** In a small apartment cluttered with gaming consoles, empty soda cans, and half-read fantasy novels, John Mercer spent his days lost in the virtual worlds that offered a refuge from his bleak reality. A once-passionate gamer, John's enthusiasm had waned, replaced by a numbing routine and a growing sense of despair. His favorite escape was "The Lord of the Rings," a world of epic battles and heroic quests that seemed infinitely more vibrant than his own. John had always dreamed of living in Middle Earth, where he could wield a sword, cast spells, and stand against the forces of darkness. The world of Tolkien was his sanctuary, a place where he could imagine himself as a hero rather than a faceless player in an endless grind of online games. But those were just fantasies, fleeting moments of solace that dissipated as soon as he logged off and returned to the harsh light of day. One fateful night, after hours of playing yet another repetitive dungeon crawl, John fell asleep with "The Lord of the Rings" open beside him. He dreamed of vast forests, ancient cities, and a sky filled with stars. But this dream was different. It felt vivid, almost tangible, as if he could reach out and touch the trees, hear the rustle of leaves, and feel the weight of a sword at his side. When John awoke, he found himself in a place that was both familiar and utterly foreign. The air was crisp and filled with the scent of pine and earth. He was in a forest, unlike any he had seen in his world—tall, majestic trees that seemed to touch the sky, their leaves whispering secrets in the breeze. Confusion gave way to awe as he realized where he was: Middle Earth, the land of his dreams. Before he could fully grasp his situation, a glowing interface appeared before his eyes, reminiscent of the games he used to play. It displayed a series of stats, skills, and quests, transforming his existence into a game-like system. John's heart raced as he read the words that would change his life forever: **Welcome, John Mercer. You have been chosen.** **Current Location: Middle Earth - Lórien Forest** **Objective: Discover your purpose in this world.** The system was intuitive, responding to his thoughts and guiding him through his first steps in this new reality. It granted him basic abilities, increasing his strength, agility, and perception to levels beyond anything he had known. He could see his stats, skills, and inventory, just as he had in countless games before. But this was no game—it was real. As John explored his surroundings, he encountered the beautiful and enigmatic Lady Galadriel and the wise Lord Celeborn, rulers of Lothlórien. They welcomed him with a mixture of curiosity and caution, sensing the unusual nature of his arrival. John chose to keep the truth of his origins a secret, knowing that his knowledge of their world could be both a blessing and a curse. In the days that followed, John trained tirelessly, learning to harness the power of the Heart of Lórien, a mystical artifact that pulsed with a radiant energy. He discovered that his game-like system could interface with the Heart, amplifying his abilities and granting him access to powerful magic. Each quest he completed, each skill he mastered, brought him closer to understanding his role in this world. But Middle Earth was not the idyllic paradise he had imagined. Dark forces were stirring, shadows that threatened to engulf the light. John soon found himself at the forefront of a looming war, tasked with defending Lórien from the encroaching darkness. With every battle, he grew stronger, his resolve hardening as he faced the reality of his new life. As the shadow of war loomed larger, John knew that his journey was only beginning. He would need to forge alliances, uncover ancient secrets, and confront the darkness that sought to consume Middle Earth. With the power of the Heart of Lórien and the strength of his allies, he would stand against the shadows and fight for

Rise of The Immortal Wraith

The Immortal Empire: It was time to ascend the heavens and break free from heavens fate, to guard against and destroy the invading forces of the demons and gods, he looked upon the Heavens one last time before he turned to face his men. With his mind determined he said to his companions "Let us be rid of these parasites once and for all!" His younger brother took a step forward with passion in his eyes he yelled "For the Emperor!" the other Immortals bowed in agreement, they replied, " FOR THE EMPEROR!". As the Heavens churned above to strike down the one who would try and make the laws of Heaven and Earth kneel before him. The Heavens seemed to roar as they unleashed their wrath upon the world. In a realm far detached from the will of the heavens a beautiful elf with golden eyes, pale white hair and alabaster skin so fair one would believe him an angelic being. As he stood above the anvil staring at his creation, not with pride but disgust. "Another failure, come here and take this with the others and have them destroyed, send word and these gifts to Lord Kele'brimbor, I need his help". A young servant girl stepped forward taking the ring and placing in a silver box lined in runes with dozens of other failures. She placed the other gifts that were placed next to the anvil into her satchel noticing the extra weight from the black box that seemed as if there were tiny stars from the nights' sky placed upon it the servant girl bowed "Right away Lord Sauron." As she turned closing the silver box leaving the tower, there was a faint flash of green coming from a small crack in one of the runes and beneath the sound of a breeze, a light sigh could be heard. Galadriel

"This is a spur of the moment comeback story, I hope people like it." - Prime example of a ThePrsn in the wild being wrong. THIS IS A COMPENDIUM OF SHORT STORIES! (PLEASE READ BELOW TO UNDERSTAND HOW THIS WORKS) BACKGROUND WARNING NOTE: For any type of short story that I write; I prefer to keep the background of the chapters vague and slightly open to interpretation as I think that makes the shorter stories more interesting and overall more enjoyable to read. I may explain some background if people genuinely get confused, as that is an issue on my part. EXPLICIT CONTENT WARNING: *EXPLICIT LANGUAGE AND THEMES ABOUND, THOSE WHO ARE AFFECTED SHOULD TURN AROUND!* Any chapters consisting of comedy may be of a satirical nature, that means that a lot of the comedy chapters I will write will often focus on contrast and breaking established tropes. Another comedic tool that I employ is trying to frame with an overtly sophisticated vernacular, while strewing across just about any explicit language you can think of, which is a bit of an homage to Rowan Atkinson (Just a bit of inspiration is taken from him, I love the guy, so please don't @ me fellow Bean or Blackadder fanatics!) . I'm not going to try and explain my comedy further, as I believe that would be antithetical to writing comedy. I'm only explaining this bit so that people don't get too angered or triggered by the use of explicit language and themes (which is understandable, this just isn't for you if that is the case), I hope you enjoy my content if you can get past that. Explanatory Note: Right, I should probably explain how this works. Most if not all the chapters will be (mostly) self-contained stories, I might continue a series if I like it enough, or I might have a multi-part story if I deem it necessary for a given story. This will be series of short stories released infrequently to refine my writing abilities. I hope everyone who comes across this novel enjoys the stories. At its heart, this is a variety of genres, and I can only hope that you will enjoy it. If you like the chaotic writing style of The Kingdom Of The Saiyans, this'll be right up your ally. I'm going to put stuff up on here whenever I have an hour or two to spare, and an idea I'm excited about. So I hope everyone can enjoy this. Thank you so much for giving me a chance! Yours Truly, ThePrsn.
