Oblivion System
Armageddon. Extinction. OblivGod.
What happened that day was never explained. No one lived long enough to survive. The sun dissapeared, and the monsters appeared. numbers in the billions, modern weapons insufficient to handle more than an undead. And when the sun did reappear a day later, 60% of all humans had already died.
Those that lived were secluded, or had awakened an ability. To wield magic or swords. to raise their own undead, or to create weapons. Each person powerful enough even at their weakest, to have bullets break when they're shot.
But it wasn't enough. We were too spread out. We couldn't reach eachother. and group by group, we were slaughtered.
My parents, siblings, friends
My neighbors, their kids, My coworkers.
Not a single person was spared. And I later learned I was the last person to survive.
How long did I last to be exact? Eight days. not years, months or weeks.
days.
And my final moments was to be spent in a freezer. The dry and stale air because of the glaring lack of electricity, I planned to kill myself before the monsters broke down the door. When I saw it.

As a last ditch effort, it worked to send me a year back in time. At least that was the plan. Instead.. I'm in a new reality, one where the outbreak was a year prior, but humanity survived.
The holes in the earth closed, but occasionally new ones form. A portal inside them that could be entered, leading us somewhere off of earth. And into a range of areas. Should they not be dealt with, they would break open, and thousands of monsters would roam free.
This is the story of Orion, the final survivor of his world, and the savior of this world. And eventually, a human, turned god.
