Rimmon Kenan Narrative

REINCARNATION 101

Life is like an egg... I don't know why I said that. This world isn't at all what I thought it would be. I was ready for the butterfly effect, but not to this extent. Sure, I turned a few bad guys into good ones, but the system's idea of "fixing" the narrative? Completely idiotic. And that's why I hate the fucking system. When I find the bastard who transmigrated me, I'll kick his ass—then maybe thank him for bringing me here. Anyway, you're probably wondering why I'm yapping. Well, it's because I got reincarnated as the female lead. One minute, I'm living my normal life, heading home after work. The next, I’m the princess of an empire. Naturally, I did what any reincarnator would do—I got involved in the narrative. Oh, but then I realized, no one else really does that. Most reincarnators are born as side characters, only aiming to help the protagonist from the shadows. They claim they won’t interfere or change the story, acting all sneaky and pulling strings from behind. But let's be honest—they're stupid. I’m not like them. Since I was born as the female lead, I molded the narrative to my will. And here I am. I admit, things got a little messed up, but I wasn’t the only one who knew the future. Who knew that shitty system regressed people too? Anyway, my interference caused the system to malfunction. It broke down, unable to maintain balance, and now, thanks to me, this world is system-free. That caused a few problems since the system kept certain things in check, but who cares? The story goes on. Maybe I went a bit too far, like when I made that one-time villain a professor. But he's a good guy now, just a little broken... and maybe possessed... or maybe he did massacre a village in the original novel. But, but that didn’t happen this time because I’m here. This time, he saved a lot of people, including me, and now he’s living a happy life. All because of me. So yes, I am a great person. Honestly, this story is more about him than just me. Oh, and there’s another guy too. Yeah, he’s a joy. The side character that everyone scorned is now a protagonist alongside me and the villain-turned-professor. So, we're all rejects and outcasts. Stick around to find out what kind of crazy shit the three of us pulled off. We’re the self-made protagonists of what was supposed to be a typical tragic romance novel. Oh shit... what happened to the original protagonist and his group? I totally forgot about them. --- "Welcome to my novel! As a new writer, I'm excited to share my story with you. Please bear with me if my English isn't perfect - I'm doing my best to improve. The story is also going to be pretty slow at the start(almost till 45, but from then we go into a normal pace), but stick around if that's your taste. Update Schedule: New chapters will be posted every day except a Monday or a Wednesday. Occasionally, I might surprise you with an extra chapter on certain days. The Writer’s Paradox

Max Carter, a struggling writer with untapped potential, discovers an ancient pen and notebook buried in the forgotten corners of his university library. To his surprise, the notebook activates a LitRPG interface called the Nexus System, revealing a startling truth: countless fictional worlds have begun to collapse. Villains have won in stories where they shouldn’t have, characters are straying from their arcs, and plotlines are unraveling, creating dangerous rifts that connect these broken stories to one another. The Nexus System assigns Max the role of "Keeper," sending him into these corrupted narratives to repair the damage. Each time he enters a story, the system assigns him a role—Main Character, Side Character, or Random NPC—forcing him to navigate each world from different perspectives. Max must restore the proper endings, ensuring the protagonist wins and the story regains stability before the rift consumes it entirely. But the villains, unaware of their fictional nature, are thriving in their rewritten worlds, making Max’s mission more dangerous with every step. The breakdown of one story threatens the stability of others, as rifts open pathways between worlds, allowing elements from one narrative to bleed into another. Max must carefully balance his interference, as disrupting the story too much risks deepening the rift and pulling entire worlds into chaos. With each story he repairs, Max grows closer to uncovering the truth about the Nexus, the ancient pen and notebook, and why he was chosen. But as the stakes rise and the lines between reality and fiction blur, Max must decide whether to follow the system’s rules—or rewrite his own ending.
