Respawn: A Bard’s Tale
Nathan Cole was a game designer, a Dungeon Master, and a man with absolutely no rhythm. Now, he’s dead. Probably. Instead of the afterlife, he wakes up in an unfamiliar world with golden trees, a weird cinnamon smell, and—oh yeah—a brand-new body. A half-elf body. With bard stats.
Armed with a lute he can't play, a dagger that couldn't cut butter, and a "Legend System" that’s already labeled him an anomaly, Nathan has two options: adapt or die. But with fading memories of his past life, a lack of basic survival skills, and the burning question of who the hell brought him here and why, his odds aren’t great.
If he wants to survive, he'll need to figure out how this world works, why his status is broken, and—most importantly—how to make the Bard class not completely suck. Because in this world, the monsters are real, death is permanent, and nobody’s handing out tutorial pop-ups.
A sharp-tongued, darkly comedic LitRPG adventure where wit is the best weapon—and Nathan is about to find out just how overpowered Charisma can really be. (may go full grimdark / dark fantasy as it progresses)
