The Unending
They called it a blessing.
But for Tithonus, eternal life became an unending curse.
Loved by Eos, Goddess of the Dawn, he was granted immortality, but not eternal youth.
Time, insulted and unchecked, watched him wither across centuries, a husk of the man he once was, breathing only because the gods demanded it.
Until the dawn wept blood.
Eos, burdened by the agony she’d caused, drove a god-forged blade through her own heart and into his.
And from her sacrifice, he was born anew.
Not as a man.
Not as a god.
But as something in between.
Now, in a world that has forgotten him, under skies where dawn no longer rises, Tithonus walks again, young, whole, and burning with the memory of love and loss.
The gods thought time had claimed him.
But Time has debts.
And Tithonus has begun to collect
