Time-Travel to the Medieval: A Fantasy Adventure of an American Girl

Emily Smith, a 22-year-old history student from a university in Los Angeles, accidentally travels back to 13th-century England. She unknowingly enters a strange "Fate Correction System" and is sent into an ancient legend as the female lead. According to the system, the original owner of this world shares the same name as Emily. She was an unloved noblewoman, and according to fate, she was supposed to have a one-night affair with the most powerful Duke of England, Edmund de Montfort, on a full moon night. This led to an unexpected pregnancy and her expulsion from her family. Five years later, she was to return with her genius son, going through some struggles before reconciling with the Duke, eventually being treated like a queen. However, due to a system malfunction, the original owner learned about her fate in advance and deliberately avoided the Duke, disrupting the balance of the world. Therefore, Emily was tasked with fixing this. The system arranged for Emily to be sent to the night when she was supposed to meet the Duke — after a grand castle banquet. According to the plan, she would mistakenly enter the wrong room after drinking wine laced with aphrodisiac herbs. An hour later, as the system watched Emily lying on the bed, flushed with color, it asked, "Host, when will you carry out your mission?" Emily replied slowly, "Wait, let me first get used to the clothes of this era... This corset is killing me." Five hours later, the system, seeing Emily finally get up, urged, "Host, it’s not too late! The Duke is in the tower next door, his door isn’t locked because of a broken lock. You need to go now!" Emily casually pushed open the door next door, and found herself face to face with Edmund de Montfort, the Duke, who was handling estate matters under candlelight. The system was excited: "Go for it, Host!" Edmund furrowed his brow, coldly saying, "Who are you? How dare you break into my private chamber?" Emily looked at the plate of delicate honey cakes on his desk and couldn’t help but swallow her saliva. "I’m your wife, five years from now." "I’ve answered your question. Can I have a reward now? A piece of cake, the one on your left, it looks so sweet." Edmund hesitated for a moment before nodding and ringing a bell to summon a servant. "Bring another plate of honey cakes, the best ones." The system: "…" Edmund couldn’t forget the mysterious woman who had broken into his room. At a grand royal ball, they met again. This time, Emily was drunk and staggered over, hugging him tightly and refusing to let go. Edmund smirked: "Is this some trick of ‘catching me by pretending to be weak’?" Before long, Emily’s little brother appeared, apologizing and trying to pull her away. "Sorry, Duke de Montfort, my sister recently... um... has a strange condition where she believes she's a forest animal and wants to hug tall people for warmth." Edmund was silent for a moment. "It’s fine. I’ll reluctantly endure it." Little brother: "Are you sure?" Edmund: "Yes." An hour later… "Miss Emily, could you wake up?" "My legs are numb." "…" After giving up on Emily for a while, the system returned to fix the aftermath. But it discovered something unexpected: Emily’s biased noble parents were no longer biased and had completely turned into doting parents. The originally villainous younger brother did not go down an evil path but instead became the most popular court poet. The original cannon fodder female antagonist had become Emily's sister, and they were running a business together in harmony. As for the male lead, Duke Edmund, he had long since embraced his beautiful wife, pampering her like a treasure. The entire medieval world ran smoothly with no signs of collapse. System: "How did she do it? By eating, sleeping, and modern-day ideas??" Modern American girl’s laid-back life vs. the high-and-cold Duke’s broken persona. The original world fell apart, and in the new world, everyone got a fresh start.

An angel‘s road to hell

What happens if the one transcendent being that cares for mortals fell and got a second chance in a world full of magic, intrigue and possibly even friendships? Does the past determine the future or are we all able to pick our own destiny? An angel, one of the two nigh immortal species in existence, has been hunted and killed by his own kind because he wasn’t prepared to watch silently while his people followed their own desires to whatever end. When, against all odds, he opened his eyes again, he was someone else, his past and powers hidden deep within him. On an ancient world, with advanced magic but medieval technology, he was reborn as Cassandra Pendragon, the youngest daughter of one of the five royal families on Boseiju, the home of the fox tribe, the kitsune. As she grew up, who she was and who she had been, started shaping her future. Forgotten friends and unknown enemies began knocking at her door and while she struggled to find her way between the past and the present, the winds of war were already blowing across her home. I‘ll try to publish at least 2 chapters a week, probably more. The first story arc is pretty much mapped out. Should be around 150 or 160 chapters for the first volume (it’s taking much longer than I expected) and the second one is nearly finished as well. Try it, it should be one hell of a ride. One more thing: the first two chapters are more or less a prologue and if you want to, you can skip them, I wouldn’t recommend it, though. The writing style as well as the perspective shifts dramatically, afterwards. As for trigger warnings: it’s going to get gory from time to time, and the MC often has to pay a toll in blood. Additionally there are -mildly- sexualised scenes, once in a while, but nothing graphic. Lastly, somewhen webnovel changed the description box from female lead to female oriented. It’s mandatory and I can’t change it either way but I have no clue if the book is catering male or female preferences. I hope the description above makes up for whatever confusion it might cause.

She was floating.. no, hanging! On what?! She struggled to get back on her feet but was pulled into something so.. hard and warm. And It smelt so damn good... She tried looking back to see what was holding her but the 'thing' wasn't having it. She looked down to see a very large pair of strong and hairy arms, wrapped around her torso, sending jolts of unexpected pleasure to her nether region. "Let me go, you dumb brute!!" She screamed, squirming in his arms, trying to slip out of his unyielding grip but stopped when she realized his grip was getting tighter. "What is this?! Tell him I do not want him! I reject mphh..." Her words were cut off by one of the men surrounding her. "I'll only release you so long as you promise to listen to 'us'." The man holding her said. Who were the 'us' he mentioned? They were none other than the three sons of the Alpha. And I... Who was suddenly caught by them, was an Omega. They wanted to talk, huh? Well, so be it. There was only so much an Omega like her could do anyway. "Fine," she said, relaxing her stance. "But you have to give me some space. Please," "Not a chance, princess," he said, his face bearing a smug that made her sigh in annoyance. "Fine," she said and he relaxed his grip on her, giving her a chance to at least stand to her feet. As soon as she stood firmly on her feet, she looked up at all three of them and the most crazy thing happened. She heard her wolf purr in her mind. 'MATE' What? ************ Bethany Sage. Your average everyday Omega, had never really liked her average, mediocre life. She loved the peace but had always been one to love more.. To Love A River

In a dystopian future where Vampires emerged from the shadows in order to stop humanity from becoming extinct, a young woman with a dark past meets a charismatic stranger. As time goes by Private Love Aikawa of military Unit 4-7, finds that she may not be as human as she first thought. Battling rogue vampires, mutated creatures and her own past, Love works to unravel the mysteries behind the secretive Helsing unit, and tries to become the bridge between humans and vampires in a world filled with discrimination. This novel starts intentionally slow through the exposition and the early world and character building, BUT everything kicks into gear after the turning point in the latter half of Volume 1, and especially Volume 2, where the tone of the novel shifts. So, I hope you stick with it and enjoy the wild ride! I also added some song recommendations along the way to listen to whilst you read certain chapters, I hope this helps boost the experience. Public Spotify playlist titles (all under the name LouLou): TLAR - Book 1 TLAR - Book 2 TLAR - Book 3 TLAR - A Fire in Their Wake This is rated 'No one under 17 permitted' for (very) mature themes, including drug use, SA, LGBTQ+ discrimination, very frequent strong language, violence etc. Please note that no storyline is chosen for shallow shock value, and most are taken from personal experience, and hopefully handled with the care, respect and sensitivity they deserve. Disclaimers are added against any chapter that may cause distress. Betrothed to a Billionaire

--- Ariana was rooted to the floor outside of Anthony’s door her heart raced in her chest, like something was preparing to break apart her ribs. She had not wanted to come to a halt, much less listen in on the conversation that was unfolding before her. But the sound of laughter that came from Rachel was not new to her ears which suddenly had her face the direction of the voice like a pupet. “…you’re so bad, Anthony,” Rachel whispered sexily. “I never lie to you,” Anthony countered sullenly then suddenly grew smarmy, “I’m only bad with you.” Reaching out Ariana braced her back against the wall and her mind whirled round with confusion. Glancing around the corner she stopped breathing as she saw them. Rachel resting on Anthony laps, having her hand resting on Anthony’s arm. He leered at her, and from even his bearing suggest that he wanted something more than friendship from her. “She has not realized it yet?” Rachel asked me in low tones as if Shareen was a hopeless case. Anthony chuckled. “He realized Ariana was smart, as well as trusting in his team. That’s her weakness.” Such words are a shock for Ariana as if someone slapped her. [His fists clenched.]His hands shook, and for a moment she considered; she felt that nausea could overcome herself. Trust. That was what she had delivered to them – what she considered they deserved. And now? Now they were laughing about it, about her . She wanted to rush into the room and meet them eye to eye, look them into the eyes and scold them for every single angry word that rises within her chest. But she didn’t move. Not yet. She held a strap of her bag so tightly her hands became gloved. Indeed, she retreated sensibly, her breathing becoming light. It was not so strange they did not notice her go ; of course they did not. Why would they, if they reckoned she did not know any better? And when she came to the door of the house, shutting herself out on the cold evening, when the wind caressed her cheek like a slate, then in her soul something leaped. The heartbreak was still there, but it was buried beneath a wave of something new, rage. But she paused and with her head held high she walked away leaving her legs give away from her. The frosty night’s darkness embraced her when she tripped outside, onto the campus and grass., but the freezing air was no match for the icy sensation in her chest. She began to ponder vigorously various questions, accusations and processes of retaliation in her mind. But she didn’t see the car. This blaring of the horn was too late. There was the pathetic squealing of brakes and a moment of unbearable agony that filled her from head to toe. The world staggered, and the last thing Ariana could make out before everything went black was the night sky above her. Everything went black. ---
