Stephen King Outsider

I’m sorry, thinking outside of the box became a habit.

Lucifer: What a beautiful and peaceful world.  System 4858: Miserable.  Lucifer: People here are nice too.  System 4858: Miserable, too miserable.  Lucifer paused, raising an eyebrow at the system’s unrelenting negativity.  Lucifer: Hmm?  System 4858: Yes! Yes, it’s beautiful and peaceful here. ‘But now... now that the great villain is here... who knows how long this peace will last? Miserable, too miserable.’  Lucifer smirked, his pale blue eyes glinting with amusement. His presence was overpowering, his aura so dense that the very air seemed to tremble under its weight. The world around him was serene, a gentle breeze stirred the trees, and the soft glow of the evening sun cast a golden hue over the landscape. It was a world that had yet to know chaos. A world yet to be touched by his unpredictable hand.  He stood at the edge of a cliff, gazing out at the quiet town below. The people looked so small, so fragile. Innocent, even. His gaze softened, but only for a moment, before that playful smirk returned. Lucifer did things as he pleased. He was neither bound by rules nor constrained by morality. Good? Evil? Such distinctions were laughable to him. his actions were dictated by whim and mood. He could be their saviour or their destroyer. It all depended on how the next moment struck him.  But who was he? And why did his very presence distort reality? How had he come to possess such unimaginable power?  System 4858, however, was not in the mood for philosophical musings. System 4858: Wait, what? It blinked, a metallic chime of confusion ringing through the air. Why did the modern world just turn into a fantasy setting? The tyrant hasn’t even started anything yet!  The system frantically checked the world’s data, only to find its structure bending and shifting in ways it couldn’t comprehend.  The once-modern cityscape was slowly morphing into something out of a fantasy, mythical beasts stirring in the shadows. It turned to look at its host.  Lucifer stood there, watching the transformation with an eerie smile. That smile alone sent a cold chill down the system’s core. It immediately spun around, its circuits sparking with panic, and sprinted away as fast as its non-corporeal form could manage.  System 4858: Lord God! Save me from this villain! But unknown to the terrified system, even the Lord God himself would be powerless to intervene in this matter. System 4858 could only shed metaphorical tears as it watched its host, the unstoppable force of chaos, begin to twist the world in ways that no one could have predicted.  The world’s Lucky sons who were meant to rise and fight back found themselves bowing to Lucifer’s will. He ordered the world’s protagonists around like mere pawns, and wherever he walked, destruction followed in his wake.  System 4858: Miserable, too miserable But even the unreasonable Lucifer had someone by his side who always smiled whenever Lucifer did something unpredictable.  One day, System 4858 accidentally saw the man playing with the darkness and was terrified. Soon, it was lying powerless in the man’s hands, staring at his smile System 4858 : Huh?! I knew it! Only a demon can accompany another demon.  The man with the red eyes : Hmm? System 4858: sob, sob. Miserable, too miserable

The Ludus King

In the year 3147 the Roman Imperium had finally achieved its goal of colonizing its own corner of the galaxy. Unlike in our own world the Rome of this one never fell, but instead grew to encompass the whole of the earth, and overtime spread itself, and humanity, among the stars. Yet even with the marvelous advancements in technology, healthcare, welfare, and every other category required for a thriving society. There is still one roman tradition that refuses to die. GLADIATORS!! And we should all be glad for it, because during the year 3149, just two years after the long and exhausting colonization campaigns were ended, mankind learned that it was not alone in the galaxy, let alone the universe. It had just stepped onto a much bigger stage where entire planets and even star systems were used as bargaining chips in universal gladiator games. Wars on a galactic scale are far too destructive to simply be allowed, if left unchecked the vast majority of life in the universe would cease to be. Therefore each race recognized by the galactic or universal council (it changes depending on the scale of the race itself) must submit champions or gladiators to represent them in the games. The winners gain unfathomable rewards, the losers perish or worse have their entire species enslaved. Please join our hero as he embarks upon his own perilous journey as a lanista, will he rise above the masses, or fall like so many others before him? Or perhaps his own latent gifts may bring him to a height, or depth hitherto unexplored by any before.

The Outsider’s Requiem: A Mercenary's Meta Quest

Lumumba, a young black student living abroad, is trapped in a world where he is constantly harassed, humiliated, and treated as an outsider. Bullied at school, ignored by teachers, and abandoned by the very people who should protect him, Lumumba is drowning in a sea of hatred and loneliness. As the insults pile up, his bitterness grows—until one day, an incident pushes him too far. In a violent confrontation, his world comes crashing down, but instead of meeting his end, Lumumba is thrust into a brutal new reality. Waking in a strange, war-torn fantasy world, Lumumba is reborn as Ubuntu, a powerful anti-hero with extraordinary regenerative abilities, mastery of combat, and a newfound indifference to pain. But Ubuntu is no ordinary warrior. He knows he’s part of a story, breaking the fourth wall to comment on the absurdities of the world around him, mocking the tropes of the genre while carving his own chaotic path. Driven by his rage and desire for revenge, Ubuntu's quest becomes twofold: to dominate this new world and find a way back to exact revenge on those who made his life hell. But as he cuts through enemies, manipulates the rules of this new universe, and confronts his old life with newfound powers, Ubuntu must grapple with his own morality—or lack thereof. In this darkly comedic, meta-aware isekai tale, justice and chaos walk hand in hand, and the line between hero and villain blurs into nothing. In a world where rules don’t apply, what happens when the outsider becomes the ultimate force of destruction?
