Amidst escalating Chinese aggression in the Pacific, Japan and the United States maintained their strong alliance, fully aware of the looming possibility of Taiwan facing an invasion. Japan, having emerged as an economic powerhouse in the Pacific after the Civil War and World War II, was viewed by China as a major obstacle to their expansionist ambitions. With Article 9 no longer in effect, recent developments indicated Japan's unwavering determination to defend Taiwan. The Japanese government considered their fleet of four carriers crucial in this regard. However, unforeseen circumstances would soon engulf both Japan and the United States, transporting them to a world where magic and dragons held fundamental significance. Embracing their new reality, Japan and the United States forged a fresh coalition, leveraging their influence and steadfast principles in this unfamiliar realm. In light of agreed-upon arrangements, the two nations embarked on a joint expeditionary force to explore the new world, fully aware that the likelihood of this world aligning with their coalition was slim. As they beheld the new world, Japan and America encountered conflicts and ongoing wars that surpassed the brutality of their previous reality. They navigated this unfamiliar land, seeking to establish themselves as influential entities. The new world would soon have the opportunity to learn from the experiences and ideals of Japan and America. Based on the series of Nihonkoku Shoukan. OP Extra: This Guy Is a Regressor!

Bookworm Elijah Demereaux dies while reading the final book of his favorite novel series from his phone atop the rooftop of his dorm building. He then wakes up in an unfamiliar room, inside an unfamiliar body. A surge of memories began to assimilate in his mind. That’s when Elijah learned that he had actually transmigrated into the body of an Extra with the most broken set of powers in the novel, Terra Uru. Upon reading the memories of Terra, Elijah discovers a big easter egg. “F*ck! This guy is a regressor!” Terra is actually a regressor and he was supposed to die much later on in the original timeline. However, the infamous Butterfly-kun showed up and killed Terra off before the story even began this time. His favorite character in the entire series dies just like that within a year? Having possibly died once, Elijah would be damned if he dies a second time so early on in the novel. Armed with all the knowledge of both Terra’s future and the novel series, Elijah will have succeed in what his predecessor failed to do… Prevent the death of the Luminous Emperor while simultaneously preparing for the Altar War. *** I’ve been reading up on a lot of novel reincarnation/transmigration tropes and had a fresh dose of inspiration at 1 in the morning. This book will be in 1st POV. This work is participating in the 2024 Spirit Awards. I’ll also be uploading every 2-3 days. Sometimes everyday depending on the flow of traffic at my job.
