As Heavens Divide

In a crumbling realm of a long-dead immortal, in a forsaken corner of the universe, two souls cross paths. Xin is a burnout prodigy, living a solitary life as a hunter, until one day he sees his hometown levelled to the ground by a giant boar. Wu Lei is a street urchin, persevering through a lifetime of pain and abuse, forced into a criminal syndicate at a very young age. So different, yet so similar, they quickly form a bond, which will be tested over the decades to come. This is a dark, slow-burning tale of resilience and transformation. In a world where grand narratives are forged, not given, and shortcuts are carved, not found, Xin and Lei embark on a relentless journey of martial arts, cultivation and friendship, with its beautiful ups and painful downs. What to expect: 1. There are no cheat codes. The mcs are both talented individuals, yet they aren't the chosen ones. They don't belong to any prophecy or grand plot, and have to claw their way into relevance. 2. It's a psychological work at its core, and a coming of age story at that. The mcs evolve drastically, but naturally, and they will at times frustrate the audience. This is by design. 3. Everything is explained gradually as to not overwhelm the reader. Please have patience, every single type of cultivation will be studied in-depth. The plot is also not what it seems at first, and evolves much further than what it originally presents itself as. 4. This book is very edgy at times. I don't do things just to shock people, and I believe that every edgy piece of content I write has a reason behind it, but you have been warned. 5. I am an ESL author. This means that I'll mess up an article or two, and some of my phrasings will be a bit unusual. I am constantly reading English literature and working on improving my writing, and I certainly get better as the chapters go on, but keep this in mind. 6. The narration style switching between first and third form is intentional, same for not using italics. It's not a quirk or a whim, but an experimental choice that will become very relevant in future chapters. https://discord.gg/Nvj7yPJr4q - my discord. New chapters, a backlog of 130 plus less edited chapters, shitposting. I have 131 chapters written currently, and will post them gradually.

Black Magus

What kind of realm would you choose to live in after digitizing your mind? For Amun, that was a magical world where he could be free to learn until his end of days. What he got was to become the living god of a vast realm in an odd universe. A being who'd be born with the world. And later stripped of it all. A being of juxtaposition and contradictions. A sinner and a saint. A wise sage and a genius scientist. A loving creator and a baleful explorer. An elf and a devil, living in a world of might and magic. But all is not what it seems. Peace is fleeting. Figures loom in the light. Forms strafe through the trees. And one Amun is woefully ignorant to the ways of a realm so ripe for change. Yet he is one who cannot help but change it. So he devotes himself to forming the greatest guild the Mortal Plane has ever seen, intending to change his world and others for the better. And yet, somewhere along the line of his undying march, Amun evolved into the being all denizens of the Mortal Plane either revered; or feared.
