Rebels The Beacon Star Wars

**A Beacon of Light in the Darkest of My Times**

**A Beacon of Light in the Darkest of My Times** I remember the night I almost gave up. It was one of those nights where the weight of the world sat so heavily on my chest that even breathing felt like a battle. The kind of night where the silence was deafening, and every shadow on the wall felt like a ghost of my past failures. I sat on the edge of my bed, staring at the floor, wondering how I had ended up here. Life has a way of pushing us to the edge, and maybe you're there right now—drowning in uncertainty, heartache, or loss. Maybe you feel like hope is a cruel mirage that vanishes the moment you try to grasp it. But let me tell you something that changed my life: hope is not the absence of darkness. It is the light that refuses to be extinguished, no matter how fierce the storm. ### **The Night I Found Hope Again** That was the night I learned that hope is always loud. Sometimes, it's a faint whisper in the dark, a flicker of light when everything else is falling apart. ### **What is Hope, Really?** We often think of hope as wishful thinking, something fragile that shatters under the weight of reality. But real hope? It's fierce. It's stubborn. It's the kind of hope that looks at a storm and says, "You won’t break me." Hope is not denying reality. It's not pretending that pain doesn’t exist or that life is always fair. Hope is looking straight into the face of adversity and saying, "I believe something better is coming." Think of a seed buried deep in the earth. It’s surrounded by darkness, pressed down by soil. But in that very place, unseen and unnoticed, it begins to grow. Hope is like that—it takes root in the dark before it ever reaches the light. I once met a woman named Maria who had lost everything—including her home, her family, and her health. She had every reason to give up, and yet she didn’t. She told me something I'll never forget: > **"Hope is a muscle. You have to keep using it, even when it hurts."** She would wake up every morning and write down one thing she was grateful for. Some days, all she could write was, "I made it through yesterday." But even that was enough. Then there’s James, a soldier who came home from war with wounds no one could see. The nightmares, the guilt, the weight of things he couldn’t change—they almost destroyed him. But one night, standing on the edge of a bridge, he remembered something his mother used to say: > **"The darkest nights make the brightest stars."** And for the first time in a long time, he looked up. Sometimes, hope is simply deciding to look up instead of down. --- ### **Four Things to Remember When You're in a Dark Season** 1. **Focus on what never changes.** 2. **Find one small thing to be grateful for.** 3. **Surround yourself with people who speak life.** 4. **Take one small step.** Romans 5:5 says, *"Hope does not disappoint."* That doesn’t mean life will be easy or that every story will have a perfect ending. But it does mean that hope never leaves you empty. The night I almost gave up, I didn’t know what the future held. I didn’t know how things would change or if they ever would. But I chose to hope anyway, and looking back now, I see that hope was the very thing that carried me through. So if you’re standing in the dark, wondering if the light will ever return—hold on and keep hoping. Keep fighting. Because hope, even in the smallest form, is enough to carry you forward. And you? You are stronger than you think. This light came in many forms: the kindness of a stranger, the warmth of a friend's embrace, the silent understanding in a loved one’s eyes. Even in solitude, I discovered flickers of resilience within myself—small, yet powerful enough to push back the looming shadows. Each challenge, each heartbreak, each seemingly insurmountable night became a testament to the light that refused to abandon me.

Salem's Rebel

Crazy forbidden love and passion, had driven Lilith out of Salem, the home of witches, the only home she had known for years. Birthing a human in the witches’ world was considered a curse to them because of the legend they believed in, which went like this “when humans came, died witches fame. The watchers intervened, extinguishing both their flames” this led them to believing that humans would be the reason for their downfall and the wiping out of their clan by the watchers. She is banished to live and suffer in the contemporary world amongst the humans whom she was so much drawn to, all the while taking care of her only son. Lilith successfully learns to hide her true identity from the humans, while protecting her son from both enemies within and without. However, being secretive is always considered suspicious anywhere be it humans or witches. Therefore calamity was bound to occur. Will she be able to overcome these hardships? Or will her son become her legacy, her reason to enact revenge upon the witches, for the deathly suffering they both were subjected to? Armaros: “Armaros” meaning curse, the name given to him by the witches after his mother Lilith, had disobeyed the very laws that governed their world. Though at a young age, he couldn't understand why he was mocked for his hair and eye color, he soon grew to understand why and what they stood for. The witches claimed to be the superior race, yet the elders from their clan refused to closely approach him, making him wonder why, after all he was only but a feeble, harmless human. Forces beyond human and witches reality, soon begin unfolding like little rose petals before his eyes, making him question his mother on the true origins of his birth. When he finds out, will he be able to accept this new identity and carry on the burden that drags alongside it? Or will he keep seeking revenge for the shame that was brought by the witches upon his mother, slowly driving him into irredeemable darkness? Or thus will "love”, the reason for his mother's suffering be a firm support to him, helping him lighten the weight of the burden he carries? Excerpt In the contemporary world: The last bell to end the classes for the day rang, and a black haired boy picked up his bag heading outside the school dormitory, while four other students accompanied him as they spoke to each other on their separate ways home. Armaros soon arrived at his destination, looking around, before calling out, “Mother, mother I'm back” but there was no reply so, he went into the kitchen where she was usually always at, either cooking or cleaning. On getting there, the pungent smell of blood welcomed him and he looked below the kitchen counter to see his mother’s throat slit and her eyes staring at him with a hollowness in there. Beside her body lay a letter which read "from your loving….. find out yourself” with a smirking sticker glued beside the letter. *** Female lead will be introduced later in the book. In the end, Axel made the decision that would change his life forever. He accepted the offer from The Syndicate, and joined their ranks. As a member of The Syndicate, Axel was given access to resources and power that he never could have imagined. He was trained in the art of combat and strategy, and he was given the tools he needed to take down his enemies. But as Axel rose through the ranks of The Syndicate, he began to realize that there was more to the organization than met the eye. He discovered that The Syndicate was involved in a complex web of corruption and deceit, and that their true goals were far more sinister than he had ever imagined. Axel was torn between his loyalty to The Syndicate and his growing sense of unease. He knew that he had to make a choice, but he was unsure of what the consequences would be. As the stakes grew higher, Axel found himself at the center of a deadly game of cat and mouse. He was forced to use all of his skills and resources to stay one step ahead of his enemies, and to uncover the truth about The Syndicate. In the end, Axel's journey would take him to the very top of The Syndicate, where he would face off against the organization's ruthless leader. It would be a battle for control, and only one person could emerge victorious. Would Axel be able to overcome the odds and achieve his goals, or would he become the latest casualty of The Syndicate's deadly game? Only time would tell.

Stolen by the Rebel King

As a princess who could not wield magic, Princess Daphne’s only value to her kingdom was her arranged marriage. The task was simple, but when Daphne was kidnapped and brought to the cold mountains of Vramid, she realized that she was in over her head. She had heard of these cursed mountains before― rocky terrain, freezing temperatures, and the land was ruled by a man feared by many within the continent. King Atticus Heinvres, the blood-thirsty ruler of the North. Even though she had never met him before, tales were spread of King Atticus’s ruthlessness. Some said he was a monster, others claimed he was the devil himself, but whatever the story was, everyone knew of the man who had powers beyond anyone’s imagination. He could topple armies and crumble nations with just one wave of his hand, aided by what others rumored to be a cursed obsidian ring. No one outside of Vramid had ever met the fearsome king before. Not until Daphne. However, upon meeting the formidable man, Daphne found out that the king might not really be the monster others had claimed him to be. In fact, what was hidden under that obsidian shield could just be a diamond in the rough. ― [Excerpt] “Now… where should I put you both?” he asked casually, not expecting a reply. “It’s regretful that I only have one chandelier.” “Underneath my bed? No, no, too dirty. My dust bunnies don’t deserve this,” Atticus mused to himself. “The mantlepiece? How about the vanity table? I suppose if I lop off one of your heads I could mount it over… Wife, which head do you want to stare at while you do your hair?” “Atticus!” Daphne screamed. “I don’t want any heads! Let them go.” “Fair enough.” Atticus shrugged, and flicked his fingers. There were two identical cracks as both necks snapped at once. Daphne gasped, horrified. This man, her husband, had just killed two men with a flick of his finger, as though he was snuffing out candles. “I told you to let them go!” Daphne cried out. “Yes, I let them go,” Atticus said. Then, his eyes darkened. “To receive divine judgment from the heavens.” ― Discord Server: https://discord.gg/7HAMK2bRYU Spin-off/Prequel: The Hidden King's Stolen Wife (WIP)
