As Akari travels through the treacherous landscapes and to the old ruins of feudal Japan, she confronts her own demons and battles her way through numerous obstacles. With her sword skills and her unwavering determination, she fights her way to the ruins to find Genichiro as she soon learns that he is the Ascended Shogun driven with madness that was fueled by his dreams and instincts to eliminate Akari as she became a threat to Genichiro's pure ascension.
