scale and flame

Drake, an eighteen-year-old ordinary boy, was unexpectedly summoned from Earth to the magical realm called Elandor by Lena, a powerful Water Dragon Queen. She needed him to rid her body of bloodbane poison, and the only way to do so is through intimacy, an ancient ritual. But when the ritual ended, Drake absorbed not only Lena’s poison but also her fabled reverse scale, granting him incredible powers and marking the beginning of his transformation into a mage. Banished from the water dragon’s territory after the ritual, Drake is left to fend for himself in this unfamiliar world. To survive, he joined the Diamond Mage Academy and began to forged his own path. As he honed his powers, he made loyal friends and, along the way, found himself irresistibly drawn into the lives and struggles of the dragon monarchies. His once simple existence spiralled into something much larger as he formed deep bonds and built a harem filled with dragon queens from different territories. Drake’s hope for a normal life got shattered when he’s swept into a world crisis, facing a man known as Tiberius Victor, the mastermind behind the Crimson Rot catastrophe that plagued Elandor. Battling Tiberius across fierce wars, Drake realised Elandor is only a small fraction of a vaster world known as Avalon, a realm filled with mages of unimaginable power. This larger world doesn’t attract him, though, until his four dragon queens, Lena, Xena, Rena, and Zena, ascended to Avalon, leaving him behind. Drake committed to mastering his powers, reaching the pinnacle of magic in his current world (Elandor) as an archmage (9th Circle Mage), determined to reunite with his wives. Yet, as he journeys forward, he uncovers shocking truths about Avalon, his own mysterious origins, and the existence of entire worlds beyond his imagination. ***join my discord for group**** (share your thoughts) https://discord.gg/chcBMzXW

GlaringError here! As I have already mentioned in my author review I am restating it here since I am getting tons of comments about it, that I am more of a reader myself than a writer, I made this novel in an attempt to capture my fantasy world residing in my mind into words.. Writing is new for me.. The premise of my novel is inspired by many great works that I have loved over the years. And some elements I have in my novel that are slightly similar to them but it's just the skeleton of it, the real meat of the plot is entirely my own cooking. Some of the influence that is more noticeable is from The Runesmith (By Kuropon), The King's Avatar (By Butterfly Blue) and Shadow Slave (By Guiltythree). I have immense respect for these legends and I can only hope to follow in their footsteps. To all those who comment just by judging the name, at least give it a chance before letting your opinions known. Thank you.

The Villainess?

How did I get here? The last thing I remember was falling asleep after finishing the book: Trials Of Love. How did I become the villainess Camilla who has the same name as me? **************** Our female lead, Camilla used to be a very extrovert person who had many friends and was socially liked by everyone. However, after her parent's death, she was assigned to live with her Uncle and Aunt. Over time she slowly distances herself from her friends as she believes that she doesn't deserve happiness. She thought that she was the reason her parents died. Back then her parents died in a car accident when they were speeding toward the hospital where she was kept. On that very eventful morning, she had accidentally burnt her hand during food tech and was rushed straight towards the hospital. When her parents heard they too rushed over there hence they got into a car accident and eventually passed away. The only thing that would bring her happiness was that one book her parents left for her: Trials of love. It talked about a young boy named Damian who grew up in poverty but eventually became the grand duke of the Thedo empire. The Thedo empire was named after the first King founder of the empire. Damian grew to love his housekeeper's youngest daughter Eveline. The two had to go through many trials until they earned their happy ending... Of course with the occasional villainess ruining the happy pair. But who would've thought that our female lead ended up as the villainess? The character she hated the most. Camilla Rose Avery was the lost daughter of the present King and Queen. Camilla had been stolen when she was a year old by a maid. She was found by her older brother when he ran into her in an orphanage on one of his royal tours. Her love for Damian meant that she would try to kill Eveline. Because of her evil deed, she ended up being banished to the eastern empire when Damian became the grand duke. He married Eveline and then the story closed. Ella transmigrates into Camilla. However, there was still time to fix everything. She would be kind to Damian in the hope that he would remember her kindness in the future. Our female lead has decided to change her destiny so she tried very hard not to fall in love with Damian. However, the storyline seems to be changing. Why is the male lead running after the villainess this time? ********************************************************** Please vote for this book as I've entered a completion with it. English isn't my first language so bear with my grammatical. mistakes. The book cover is not mine, I found it on Pinterest. Draconic Primogenitor: Creating A Race By Writing A Book

Jackson was a normal high schooler until one day on his way to school he was caught in the crossfire of a gunfight and died due to his injuries in the hospital. When he opened his eyes he found himself in a grand library that went on further than he could tell. After some time wandering around he came across a man who introduced himself as the primordial spirit of time, stories and knowledge, Brakos. Brakos explained that the multiverse was real, and he loved to watch people create grand things with their imaginations, write their own stories, and go on grand adventures. When he watched Jackson, he saw the potential he possessed. He was ecstatic but was upset when Jackson was shot and made arrangements for his soul to come to him when Jackson died. Jackson, still processing what Brakos is saying asks “What is going to happen to me now?” Brakos replies “Well that is up to you. I am giving you the chance to essentially become an Iseki character in any world of your choosing.” Jackson looked shocked hearing about this and took a minute to process everything again with Brakos patiently smiling at him. “Ok, but I have a few questions first.” Jackson suddenly said Brakos replied with a smile. “Sure, I will answer them to the best of my ability.” for a while, Jackson asked question after question with Brakos answering them. After a few hours of this, Jackson decided to think about what he wanted for this and after some time said something that Brakos had never expected. “Brakos I want to be reincarnated in a world with magic. In that world, I want to become the primogenitor (Primogenitors are creators/first of a race. Like Adam and Eve are the first humans in the bible) of a race I can call my own. One I can create and give power to. To be the leader of a people I can call my own and one I can work to defend and help grow.” Brakos stood there wide-eyed and speechless, trying to make sure that he heard that right. Then He looked at Jackson and smiled thinking ‘This kid is smart, I may have finally found someone who can surpass even my expectations.’ He laughed “Hahaha. Ok if that is what you wish I know just the world to send you to but I must warn you. Just becoming a Primogenitor is a dangerous thing there and the race you create will depend on how you go about it and you may not like what you create. Not to mention that this world also has other primogenitors and they may try to kill you once they realize what you are and lay claim to what you have created.” Jackson smiled and said ”That’s fine I already have a plan on how I will create the race and how to protect myself. I just need your help in fine-tuning it as I don't know how it would work or even if it's possible.” Jackson proceeds to explain his plan and Brakos can't help but be amazed at the creativity of this human child. “Ok, I understand but I do have one question. What shall be the name for this race that you create?’ Jackson smiled and spoke, “This race shall be known as the Draconians." _____________ TLDR Jackson is a person that reincarnates into another world as a primogenitor (they are creators/first of a race like Adam and Eve are the first humans in the bible) and brings forth a new race called the Draconians. A special type of dragon. To create this race he gains a special book that can alter reality and allow but to change parts of his race. To most, it will look like he is taking notes about an existing race but in reality, he is changing the race itself. Follow Jack as he learns about the world he lives in now as he goes to a magic school, gains the powers of spirits and even becomes the creator of a brand new race that can fight against the gods themselves. _____________ Not a harem or romance novel. Will be a BL eventually but will not be the focus of the story. Just want to build up the world right now.

I learned a long time ago that no matter what title you give a person, friend...family, it doesn't matter, they'll all turn their backs on you eventually. That's why I stopped trying to grow close to people. And sure, don't get me wrong it hurts...it hurts like hell...today I woke up and I wished I hadn't...this never-ending cycle of pain...l just want it to all be gone, I know I'll never be happy, but if I could have just one moment of peace...just one measly second...it'd be nice..." ~ Felichs

A Kiss before the Sunrise

Alex had always been driven, working tirelessly to climb the corporate ladder. Landing a job at Hamilton Corp, the most prestigious company in the city, had been the culmination of all his hard work and sleepless nights. And when he was appointed as the assistant to the company’s president, Drake Hamilton, it felt like a dream come true. Alex couldn’t believe his luck—working alongside a business legend known for his unshakable calm, sharp intellect, and a presence that commanded any room he walked into. But Drake was more than just an intimidating boss. He was an enigma, a man who somehow knew everything happening within the company, often before it even happened. There were whispers among the staff, rumors that seemed too absurd to be true, that Drake didn’t age, that he was rarely seen in the daylight, that his presence felt... different. One late night, after a particularly exhausting day, Alex decided to stop by a quiet bar downtown to unwind. As he took a seat near the back, his eyes caught sight of someone in the shadows—a familiar figure he hadn’t expected to see in a place like this. Drake Hamilton. At first, Alex assumed his boss was just having a late-night drink. But then, he noticed something that sent a chill through him. In the dim light, Drake’s head was tilted, and his mouth was near the neck of the person beside him, a pair of sharp fangs glinting in the shadows. Alex's blood ran cold. He felt his heart thunder in his chest, disbelief settling over him like a fog. He took a shaky breath, whispering to himself as reality sank in. "The president of Hamilton... is a vampire."
