His wife, Princess Angelica Stromridge wed him for convenience before he left for war. Their marriage lacked affection and was rife with misunderstandings from the start. From name-calling to accidental letters leading to further misconception. During his absence, Angelica played the dutiful wife, sacrificing to maintain the household, being the lovely princess and wonderful daughter in law, only to face his return with another woman whom the entire kingdom agreed was more beautiful than she was! Will she divorce or fight for his love, a love that clearly never existed in the first place? Will she clear the misunderstandings and surmount the obstacles or will it be a post-marriage love story or an ex-wife tale full of regret? Excerpt |||| "My princess..." called a maid, knocking on the door her hand trembling. "Come in." replied Angelica as the door opened hearing footsteps approaching. "What are you doing here? I gave stern orders for no one to disturb me for the entirety of the day." her austere voice rang out. "I... I know my princess... please forgive me... I... I did not mean to disturb you but... this is something very important." "Let's have it then." replied Angelica closing the book she had been reading as she laid eyes on the maid. The maid gulped, the fear evident in her eyes, she did not know how Angelica would react to the severely bad news she had brought with her, however, one thing was sure, Angelica would not react lightly at all. "My... m...y prince...ss the..." said the maid, causing Angelica to sigh in annoyance, rolling her eyes, she had better things to do than sit here listening to the maid's mumbling. "Yes, say it." said Angelica giving the maid a hand. "My princess, the crowned prince has returned." said the maid. "Oh... well that's nice... I guess I will see him later, or better yet tomorrow. There is no rush, I am sure he is swarmed by crowds at the moment." replied Angelica lazily, she really had no intention of moving from this spot. "But my princess... ther— " "Oh, you're right, it would be unacceptable if I did not come out to greet him, rumours would certainly ensue and the kingdom would be in serious hysteria as they always are." replied Angelica annoyed. "Yes, you are right, I should go and welcome him back home." said Angelica as she stood up and yawned. "My princess... that is not all, there is something else..." said the maid. "And what is that?" asked Angelica as the maid's eyes darted around the room, she did not know what to do, or how best to put this. "My princess... the... the crowned prince has truly returned but..." said the maid with a prolonged pause. "But what?" asked Angelica, her senses tingling, she had a inking that there was something wrong from the maid's strange behaviour. "But his highness..." paused the maid. "Out with it now!" said Angelica sternly. "His highness has returned with a strange woman and the rumours claim that she is his new wife!" spat out the maid as Angelica suddenly felt lightheaded and she fell back down on the chair. "My princess!" cried the maid as she rushed to her. "This is some sort of farce." said Angelica as the maid proceeded quickly to fan her with a cloth. "No my princess... it is true." replied the maid. "This is impossible. Ian must be mad, I am going to see this display of stupidity for myself!" said Angelica hotly, quickly rising up and storming out of the room as the poor maid followed behind her. ||||

Betrayed by Blood, Claimed by the Alpha

“P-please let me go..” I stammered and before I knew it, I was word vomiting while crying. “—I won’t return. You won’t ever see me again. I know you don’t want me as a mate. You hate me, so please let me go.” I cried out. Cain’s jaw tightened with each word that left my lips “What gave you the idea that you have the power to choose what you want?” His voice was low, “You don’t get to decide what, how, and when you leave. Only I get to do that. You don’t get to leave me, you don’t get to run! You only leave when I want you to.” "I didn’t ask for this,” I whispered, trembling. “I didn’t ask to be your mate.” Cain stepped back, “Neither did I,” he muttered under his breath. “But the bond doesn’t give us a choice, does it?” ~~~~ As the only child of her late Alpha father, Avery Jae was meant to inherit her family’s legacy. Kiss Of The Night

A College student's soul transmigrated into a renowned Princess of 400 BCE who had a very mysterious and tragic ending. To survive from her obvious doom, she decided to have a lowkey and peaceful life away from royal struggle but she ended up falling in love with the nemesis of that Era, the notorious, ‘Dark Prince’ who was going to be the destroyer and damnation of the whole continent of that century. But, she didn’t know- She was the main reason for his damnation- For her, a lonely Prince turned into a ferocious monster, burning down the numerous kingdoms into ashes. ------ [Extract from the Story] In the solitude of an eerie night, I met that stranger again. He was standing tall and straight like a towering spruce, his profile dark against the moonlight as his long and slender fingers were wrapped firmly around the hilt of his unsheathed sword. His deep voice growled furiously while pulling out the sharp and shining blade from the bandit’s heart, “Aren’t you daring enough to lay your dirty fingers on my woman?” Drops of blood tainted the velvety carpet of the grass and the body of the bandit fell on the ground, numb and lifeless. I was awestruck by the smooth strikes of his sword and it was impossible to steady my erratic pulse. Suddenly, his cold and burning gaze fell on me. Though I never met him before, he still felt the closest person; an inexplicable sense of deja vu washed over me, creating an absurd familiarity that messed up all logic. Approaching me, he cupped my chin tenderly in his warm hand as his thumb gently wiped a drop of blood from my cold cheek, making my body shiver alarmingly. My heart was hammering in my ears and his compelling eyes riveted me to the spot. However, noticing his deep wound, I mumbled in a breathy and concerned tone, “Your injury looks deadly. You need immediate treatment.” A deep chuckle greeted me as he pulled me closer to him, wrapping his strong arms around my waist, "Don't bother about that, My love. Did I make you wait for long?" 'My love!! Is he supposed to be my damn lover?' __________ ‘Death is not a worry of mine Even if I must swallow poison I must have you, …’ ~ Lucian Mavis.

Lured by the Moon

“I will drag you into an darkest abyss, as you have done to me for your betrayal. It’ll be like an eye for an eye and tooth for an tooth.” Atlas watches him kneeling on the ground with a dagger in his side, blood trickling from his wound. Atlas stands there, leaning against the wall with a nonchalant expression. Atlas stepped away from leaning against the golden statue, and he walked closer to him with a predatory grace, calm and effortless, and Atlas cradled his face with a possessive and clinging hold, and Atlas smiled gleefully, “Let’s make a deal. Belong to me and do everything I say, and I’ll release your brother.” Sebastian never saw this day coming, and he truly regretted saving him on that snowy day. This person isn’t the same youth from before, for vengeance and hatred only remain in his heart. The only thing he can do is appease the man. But this time, he will never give out his heart again. And he will never reveal the real truth behind his betrayal. What’s the point? Sebastian looked at the man before him and resisted the urge to move away from the hand on his face. His eyes remained stoic. In a hard voice, he said, “Fine. I will do what you want; in exchange, let my brother go.” *** Sebastian lives a normal life with his family, but he lives a hidden life. He has a dark secret that he protects at all costs; otherwise, he will be killed for being a monster. He and the rest of his family are vampires, living off blood, but his family, especially his father and mother, don’t feed on humans, for they cling onto morality, hoping not to descend into depravation. Sebastian cherishes his family, and they are both his strength and his weakness. They are the ones who maintain his humanity and keep him in check. But being a vampire comes with a deadly price; he must blend in with the human world, pretending to be a human is an effortless task: calculating and flirtatious is a mask he carries for centuries, playing with the lives of those around as if they’re just a game. His heart never lets anyone in, keeping distance from anyone except for his family, who live and protect each other. On that fateful night, he never thought he could have another emotional connection. A young, feral boy carrying a hunter's knife is surrounded by blood, snow, and dead wolves in the forest. Why does his youthful body carry a grotesque canvas of scars like they tell a gruesome past? Why do his eyes carry a heavy burden that’s too young for a human? Or is he a human in the first place? Soon, he would learn that Atlas carries heavy, dark secrets, where Sebastian had to look for an answer in Atlas’s past and must decide if he’s worth forgiving and protecting. ***

scarred by the Alpher, claimed by his touch.

Synopsis: In a world where Alphas rule with absolute power, Alpha Caidren Thorne stands above them all—a warlord feared for his cruelty, a ruler whose hands are stained with the blood of both enemies and kin. His lands are harsh, his rule even harsher, and his name alone is enough to strike terror into the hearts of those who hear it. But there is a darker truth hidden beneath his legend. Every Omega sent to him has perished. No one knows why. No one dares to ask. Some whisper that his presence alone is enough to snuff out their fragile lives, that no Omega can withstand his brutality. Others say that he is cursed, doomed to be alone forever. But Caidren does not care. He has never let anyone close—not a mate, not a lover, not even his own people. His heart is stone, and his hands are weapons. When the noble House Velmire is forced to offer him an Omega, they do not send their treasured daughter. Instead, they send Elias—an adopted outcast, a boy without a place in their world. Elias has spent his life alone, unwanted, and now, he is being sent to a fate worse than death. And when he arrives at the Bloodfang Stronghold, he is welcomed by a scene of horror. A man clothed in black can be seen writhing in agony. Blood soaking the ground. And standing above it all, delivering judgment with cold precision, is Alpha Caidren. Elias’ fear takes root instantly. This man is no savior. He is death itself. Caidren barely acknowledges him, dismissing him with a single glance. Another Omega. Another life that will soon disappear. But Elias does not die. Days pass. Then weeks. And for the first time, an Omega survives. Elias is not weak. He is not fragile. He is not like the others. And against every instinct, every warning, Caidren begins to take notice. What starts as indifference turns to fascination. What was once just another burden soon becomes something the Alpha refuses to let go of. For the first time in his life, Caidren is afraid—not of war, not of death, but of the one thing he never thought he could have. And when enemies rise and threaten to take Elias away, Caidren will burn the world to keep his Omega safe.
