Umbrellas is a sci-fi fantasy novel set in a futuristic floating city in space, where an elite organization—also called Umbrellas—defends the universe from nightmarish alien creatures known as Annihiliths. Clark Smith, an ordinary man from Earth, suddenly finds himself in the body of Donovan Volgard, a reserved and mysterious Mage-type Visitor—one of Umbrellas’ elite operatives.
